Now being asked for a beast egg by his new disciple was not surprising, the problem is this new disciple is someone from the Core Haven where their contracted beasts were mostly divine grade and he had only prepared Spirit Beasts and only had one Divine Beast egg in his possession. It's the beast egg their Holy Saintess had gifted him. Even though the Black Cloud Academy had Taotie as their Guardian Beast, that one is still Principal Wu Yao's contracted beast and he cannot ask him to let it live in their mountain peak.
