Han Ming breaks out into a cold sweat listening to Bai Chuan curse at him on the phone. He glances at Bai Melin as she hovers over Jiang Yi then answers, "Yes."
"Miss Bai, the Boss wants to speak to you."
She waves at Han Ming to come to the side of Jiang Yi's bed then takes the phone.
"Meilin, I will call Dr. Dong. I give you permission to stay until he arrives."
"I knew you would understand! Chuan you are the best!"
"You might not think so after I tell you the condition. I am sending you away until I find who is behind today's attack."
"No! I don't want to go!"
"BAI MEILIN! THIS IS NOT A REQUEST! Until we take care of the situation you would be in danger and we would have to worry about your safety."
"Fine. I don't want to be a weakness for you and Cai but you need to ask for leave for me from the University. I turned in my design for the Young Designer Competition so it shouldn't be a problem."
