"Two unique abilities?" Gerald widened his eyes in shock.
Clovis didn't say anything. He simply presented the food to his father. "Why don't you or someone from the Shadow Guards take it?"
Gerald thought for a moment before asking, "Can it be split?"
"It's best to eat it as a whole. If you want one more, I can give it to you." Clovis took out another one.
Gerald paused for a moment before asking on the radio. "Sean. Come in."
A middle-aged man entered. "Boss?"
"Eat this." Gerald tossed the second cupcake while he planned to eat the first one.
The reason he wanted to eat it himself was so that he didn't look like he suspected his son.
However, he wanted to prove it to the shadow guards as well so that it would be easier to convince them. Hence, it would be good if one of them could eat the cupcake.
Sean nodded. Since it was a bite-size, Sean swallowed it in one go. Gerald did the same.
Their eyes widened the moment they realized why Clovis wanted them to eat it.
