One morning in the Yang mansion.
Jia slowly contracted her body while exhaling deep breaths. She sat still in a meditating position with legs folded together. After a series of calm, relaxing breaths, she gently opened her eyes.
Though hesitant and reluctant at first, slowly and steadily, Jia was beginning to find her share of mental peace with the help of counseling. She was now diligently doing all the exercises she had been running away from out of laziness. She was watching out for her meals to not overeat. It was a slow process and one in which she felt living away from her own home was helping her in healing.
She sipped on some water and leaned against the bed, wiping off her sweat.
