The orcs called the Murky Mountains their home. So, naturally, their understanding of the dangerous terrains here was much deeper than Adam could ever hope to achieve.
Because of the map he had taken from the elder orc, he was able to navigate fluidly trough these dangeour lands, cutting the time it woud have taken to reach his destination by half.
Thanks to the map, he learned that there were actually dozens of orc tribes in the southern part of the Murky Mountains. Each tribe comprised hundreds of orcs led by a powerful Mana Vortex being.
Adam was able to avoid the territories of these tribes, following the guidelines of the map.
He didn't want to draw any attention to himself, especially after his encounter with the group of orcs earlier.
Now, more than ever, he was extremely cautious after getting his hands on the map. After all, there were several forbidden zones in the map, even the Rank 3 old orc didn't dare to go.
