Adam walked out of the tomb with a smile on his face and laughter in his heart.
Somewhere along the way, his philosophy had changed. No matter what life threw at him, he would laugh.
If he was sad, he laughed. If he was happy, he laughed. In the face of despair, danger, or triumph, laughter was his answer.
It was simply who he was now. He would laugh and keep laughing, no matter what.
He made his way to the far end of the island, then climbed atop the ancient turtle's head.
"Lord Tebu, I'm back!" He said with a smile.
"Little Adam, are you… all right?" Tebu couldn't help but ask.
"Always." Adam beamed.
He looked around and asked, "Where's the little troublemaker?"
"Little Valerian has gone fishing," said the colossal. He paused for a moment, then asked, "What did you find at the inheritance ground?"
Adam laughed. "About that…"
