As soon as Quinlan and Xiyadie returned to the Crystal Pavillion, they went straight to their respective rooms and slept. Or at least they tried.
Xiydie was unable to sleep, as she was still feeling elated from reaching the 5th stage in one go. On the other hand, Quinlan was worried about his first battle tomorrow. Instead of sleeping, he was busy simulating battles in his head, trying to prepare for anything that his enemies could pull.
'Although I do have the advantage in cultivation, it's just a mere two stages. It's something that can still be overturned with skills.' Such pessimistic thoughts were brewing in his mind.
As such, two sleepless kids ended up welcoming the rising sun.
"Wake up, you two! It's morning!"
With Lady Moon's voice calling them, the two finally got out of their beds, but their eyes were so red that it looked like they had sore eyes. When they saw each other, they immediately noticed that they were the same, sleepless the entire night.
