"Kindness is something this world should learn to use…huh?" Arach raised his head, looking at the night sky, the full moon. One could tell how much effort it took to raise his head.
His whole body had turned stiff. The cracks on his body spread, and the grey color rapidly spread from his chest.
"Perhaps you are right…Perhaps such a world filled with kindness exists," he said, his voice carrying immense sadness. His eyes flashed with light as he reminisced. "Perhaps… I'm just unlucky."
He paused for a few seconds, and Alden didn't speak. He could feel the heavy emotions in the air, and the scene now left him speechless.
Without the fight, the silence of the night took over. The moon cast its silvery light, creating a perfect, undisturbed tranquility—tranquility hiding the horrors that happened this night.
"But Alden, this world can be cruel. And unfortunately, the people will use your kindness to destroy you. Kindness is weakness. Abandon it." Arach urged.
