Bei Qingyue forced a laugh, not responding to the question.
She said, "Since you've returned, You, why didn't you notify us? The Old Madam has been waiting for you."
Bei Tianyou glanced at her mildly and replied, "She's originally staying at Bi Luo Pavilion, she's just coming back as usual. Does this require notifying you?"
He acted like nothing had happened, as if he had completely forgotten Baili Xia's involvement in yesterday's events.
Bei Qingyue frowned slightly, a hint of displeasure flashed in her eyes.
"You, are you intentionally protecting Baili Xia?"
"The Old Madam has been waiting to take her back and question her about Xi'er. Aren't you afraid the Old Madam will be unhappy with your protection?"
Even though she was the Clan Leader and Bei Tianyou's aunt, Bei Tianyou's power was undeniable.
If possible, she would never want to fall out with him.
Helpless, she could only bring up the Old Madam's status to suppress him.
