Li's mother laughed, "Yes, she's Li Xue."
"Xuexue, I'm your cousin-aunt."
Xuexue glanced at her and continued to wail.
Li Mingxi picked her up and comforted her in English, "Don't cry, your mom and dad will be here soon. They've gone out to buy you some treats."
Xuexue understood and indeed stopped crying, though she kept hiccupping.
