We used a boarding ship to return to the Iridescence and it felt like I was coming home after a long trip.
Funny how this ship is now a home to us, though I guess we did spend quite a lot of time here already.
As doors to the docking hatch cycled open, a blue haired Renata was there to greet us, my eldritch maid striking a cute pose.
"Welcome home Daddy! Do you want dinner, a bath or do you… Want… Me?"
Where the heck did Renata even learn a greeting like that? Is that still something that is done around here?
Without waiting for my reply, she jumped into my arms, her maid uniform turning into one that looked like a bikini with a tiny apron at the front.
"Ahhnnn!! Daddy! I missed you~"
I hugged her while giving her a pointed look, "Why are you acting like we've not met each other for a while? You've been with us the entire time."
"Mmm~ I don't know what you're talking about Daddy! I've been on the ship this entire time! So I need Daddy to spend the entire day with me!"
