While the commentator gave plaudits to the Uventus players, the players were more preoccupied with celebrating among themselves on the pitch as they waited for the trophy to be prepared and brought to the field.
"You good?" Jason asked Ronaldo who had joined them in celebrating.
"I'm better," Ronaldo nodded, smiling, but winced slightly after jumping a little.
It wasn't a serious injury by any means, but it caused the worst type of pain and though he would be okay in a few days, for now, it still hurt like hell.
He could live with it though.
Ronaldo would still be subject to some check-ups after the game to see if the injury wasn't worse than it appeared though. There were a couple of final games coming up soon after today and though the club needed him to be match fit, they still had to care for his health and figure out whether he would be fit in time for the game.
