Everything hurt.
Pain ravaged through my body like a relentless fire threatening to consume me up
A single blow from that monster shattered more bones than I knew I had, leaving me a broken, batteted mess. It happened so fast that it still seemed like a dream. Ironically, it was only the blinding pain that still bonded me to the truth of reality.
But in the end, that was it.
My whole world was darkened. Pitch black and endless darkness; a never ending void that seemed to suffocate me.
'...am I dead? ' it was a strange question. I could most definitely feel the pain radiated from my mutilated body, but I couldn't will my consciousness to wake up.
My thoughts were foggy, drifting like wisps of smoke in the wind. When I tried to grasp them, they slipped through my mental fingers like illusionary gass.
It was torturous; to be able to feel such amount of pain yet be unable to do anything about it. Everything hurt. My bones were were grated, my joints were shattered.
