Chapter 731 - So Big, So Thick

By now, they had climbed about forty percent of the way up, the ground far below them. Olivia glanced down and gasped softly at the view before looking back at her son.

"You know...this reminds me of how mother monkeys used to carry their babies up tall trees like this. The babies couldn't climb, so they'd cling to their mothers for dear life."

Kafka chuckled. "So you're saying right now we're like a pair of monkeys?"

"Yes..." She said with a little laugh. "Except the only difference here is...you're the one carrying me. If we reversed roles and I was the one climbing with you hanging on, I don't think we'd even get a centimeter off the ground."

He smirked. "That's for sure. It's better this way."

Olivia pouted slightly. "It's not that bad! It's just...you're too grown up and heavy now. Back in the day, when you were just a little baby, I was the one carrying you everywhere, in a blanket, no less. Back then, I was the mother monkey and you were the baby monkey."
