Pyara woke up slowly, her eyelids lifting to gently reveal her moist and beautiful red eyes. Similar to an Alraune, she was resting in the middle of her flower, her body half-submerged in her reddish honey, while her upper body rested against the large petal.
An energetic voice reached her. "Little Pyara, wakey-wakey~. You are going to be late if you continue sleeping!"
Pyara slowly rose her body and yawned once. "I understand, Big Sister Red."
Red looked at Pyara and muttered, awed. "Little Pyara is truly the biggest one… Aren't you even more curvy than little Dewna?"
Pyara looked down at her large breasts and muttered. "It's quite strange since Mother is quite slender. Well, it doesn't matter much how I look."
"Aya! Little Pyara, you can't be like this! I am sure you will find someone soon!"
Pyara shook her head, her flaming hair waving with her motions. "I don't think so. But I am satisfied if I can work for Mom."
"Tsk, tsk." Red laughed. "You really love Mom, eh?"
"Yes," Pyara spoke lightly, her eyes revealing nothing of her inner thoughts. "I do."
"Ah!" Red's scream startled Pyara. "You are going to be lateee!"
Looking at the hour, she slowly forced her roots to lift her from the comfortable dirt below her. "Don't be that nervous, Little Red. If I am late, I can just use a bit of my strength. I am Level 27 already, so I can run quite fast."
"But if you run, then you won't look pretty for your date! Come, come! I'll help you with the make-up!"
Pyara chuckled and moved with her thick and thorny red vines towards the bathroom. Once there, she relieved herself by placing her human half on a seat made precisely for her. Then, after she stood up, Pyara cleaned and moved in front of a mirror.
Then, she looked at the gorgeous woman reflected in the mirror. As a Sanguine Blaze, her exotic flaming hair was the most particular trait that differentiated her from any other Alraune species. Other than that, her beauty was not any lower than that of any Alraune.
Pyara was tall, with sharp facial features that radiated maturity. A single smile from Pyara would make women swoon and men blush. Her body was comparable to Verdantia's, with curves that disrupted the heartbeat of those who looked. Moreover, her intelligence was exceptional.
While other Alraune species were slightly lacking, Sanguine Blazes were not any less intelligent than humans or Sylvans. One of the reasons they never developed into intelligent races was their innate nature. Another equally important aspect was that the skills activated at birth would typically flood their minds with taboo impulses, making them forgo any attempt at creating societies or grouping together.
It was only this time around, thanks to Liu Shu being their mother, that the Sanguine Blazes were able to develop into society. If anything, they were quite uninterested in non-family members, interacting with them just as friends.
While Pyara watched as Red's deft roots applied make-up to her face, she began to think about today's date. 'I wonder who will be today's date?'
Cinderielle usually paired her each month with one person, and Pyara accepted it. She interacted with them and tried to connect. Only, the second those people tried to take a single step in a romantic direction, her disgust flared to the point that her heart clenched. It was so bad that the first time it happened, Pyara struck the man so hard that she almost killed him.
'That was quite a mess…' Pyara laughed wryly in her head. 'Thankfully, Mom interfered and asked Aunty Aurelise to help.'
"Alright! Done!"
Pyara blinked and looked at her figure in the mirror. She was wearing a gorgeous red dress that revealed generous cleavage. Her eyes had dark mascara, creating an impactful look that added to her naturally sharp eyes.
Her flaming hair draped over her shoulders, while the fringe partially covered her face. Red squealed. "Pyara, you are so beautiful! Kyaaaa!"
Pyara's elegant expression gained a touch of a smile. "Thank you, Big Sister."
"AH! LITTLE PYARA'S SMILE IS SO PRETTY!"
Pyara laughed a bit and stood up. "Alright, I am going. See you later, Big Sister Red."
"Alright! Alright! Oh, Willow Branches Above! Your date will be drooling at you!"
After leaving through Red's front door, Pyara's gaze involuntarily moved up and to the left. There, the figure of her World Tree mother reflected in her ruby-like eyes. "Mom…"
She didn't move for almost five minutes, taking in her mother's gorgeous figure. Then, she sighed softly and used her roots to move in the direction of the outer section.
Golden Sap City, like the design Liu Shu always leaned towards, was divided into outer and inner sections.
Red, Purple, Green, and Grey all lived quite deep within the inner section. To walk to the nearest block with citizens, they needed over an hour.
Pyara looked at the rising Sun on the horizon as her thorny vines moved without stopping. Her flaming hair fluttered with the wind, and her enthralling red dress fluttered with her movements. 'I wonder what type of person I will meet today?'
At 27 years of age, Pyara had gone on almost 40 different dates, twenty males and twenty women. None of them ended up being someone she connected with, but they all shared similar traits.
'Mother seems to think that I would like someone caring and with elegance… Well, they were all good people. Only, I couldn't feel any attraction for them.'
She never felt unwilling to take part in the dates. They were something her mother sorted out, even with her busy schedule, for her own good. So, she always met her dates with seriousness.
'Bar the first few ones, who I basically scared off with violence, the others left because they felt uncomfortable with me. I could easily sense how forced they were when interacting with me.'
Pyara sighed softly. 'Ugh. I am already sighing endlessly even before meeting them. Cheer up, I need to look seriously at my partner.'
Gently patting her cheeks, Pyara accelerated and rushed toward one of the most famous restaurants nearby. Her dates always started here.
Pyara arrived around seven in the morning. While she walked through the street, many eyes moved toward her. The emotions in the gaze of the citizens were so mixed that it was difficult to put into words.
Many felt lust, many were awed at her beauty, but as many were scared of her. It was not a Secret that Sanguine Blazes were Liu Shu's children. So, seeing one in the street was like encountering a dangerous celebrity.
Even with Liu Shu's efforts, Pyara's species was too well-known for people to ignore.
Accustomed to the gazes, Pyara arrived before one of the Lignified Trees. The fourth floor of this Lignified Tree had been remodeled to become a large restaurant, while the lower floors were filled with shops and other similar spaces.
When Pyara arrived, a person wearing formal attire greeted her. "Lady Pyara, it is a pleasure to receive your presence this month as well."
Pyara looked at the relatively short man with a very light smile. "Butler, does that mean you are glad I was unable to be with my date?"
"Hahaha!" The man smiled. "Not at all. It is your presence that always lights up our humble business."
Pyara walked forward, her vines slowly moving her large lower-flower body through the wide gates. "I'd rather ignore the pun and go to my table. Is everything prepared?"
The man followed with a smile. "Yes, Lady Pyara. I am sure you and your partner will enjoy today's menu."
Pyara nodded elegantly, moving up the floors silently. Her figure and presence were impossible to ignore, attracting countless gazes.
After she arrived at the restaurant, Pyara looked around. An expansive floor greeted her, with a wooden floor and gorgeous chandeliers hanging on the curved ceiling. The wooden decorations were top-notch, and the ambience was one of affluence.
Without hesitating, Pyara looked ahead and moved towards one of the private rooms. Cinderielle always reserved this room because it had been modified to accommodate Alraune-type species.
Once Pyara entered and sat in her position, her flower body sank into a hole, and her body ended perfectly at the height of a normal table. Even then, her human body was tall, so her presence was stifling. As she sat there, the aura of maturity and beauty made even the butler, who was mostly accustomed to Pyara, feel difficult to breathe.
'As years pass, Lady Pyara is blooming gorgeously. As expected of one of Lady Heavenly Willow's children.'
After the butler filled her thin wooden cup with water, he retreated to tell the kitchen to start preparing breakfast. Only twenty minutes remained until her date arrived.
Pyara sat silently, drinking the water with calm eyes. After so many meetings, there was not a hint of nervousness in Pyara's body, only calmness.
Fifteen minutes later, someone knocked on the door. "Um… Hello? Is this where Lady Pyara is?"
A mature and gentle female voice reached Pyara's ears. The low and pleasant voice was very different from anyone Pyara had met before. Curious about the new arrival, Pyara looked at the door and spoke softly. "Please, come in. It is already open."
The door gently opened, and Pyara's red eyes flashed with brief surprise. 'Wow… She is tall.'
The woman who entered was over two meters tall! Her figure was slender, but she had the right curves where it mattered. Adding to her long legs and healthy, white complexion, the woman gave an imposing feeling that was no less than Pyara's.
The woman's blonde hair and green eyes easily distinguished her as a Sylvan, while her natural tangy scent gave Pyara an idea of what element this Sylvan specialized in. Pyara smiled and spoke. "Welcome. Thank you for coming. I am Tianlian Pyara. I hope we have a great morning together."
The woman's eyes glanced at Pyara up and down, and she approached her with a smile. Pyara was slightly surprised at the boldness of this woman, but she tried not to reject her.
The Sylvan took Pyara's hand and gently kissed it. "I am Lumina Lightbranch. It is a pleasure to meet a soft beauty like you."
Pyara's hand flinched at the touch, but she resisted the urge to pull back and accepted the gesture. Lumina's green eyes flashed for a second, but she didn't show any discomfort.
After the initial exchange, Lumina moved toward her seat.
Pyara looked at the Sylvan with curious eyes. 'Such a peculiar person… There is not a single thread of wariness towards me in her eyes.' A hint of interest appeared in Pyara's eyes.
