Chapter 595 - Chapter 595. First Steps Toward A Moon City!

With their arrival, Liu Shu moved her roots and created a location for them to land. "Tell the to come over here. You should be able to see a root poking out and waving around."

The nine people observed the surroundings, and soon, they saw one very conspicuous root spinning about quite crazily. The image of that silly root in the breathtaking chaos that was reshaping the Moon was hilarious enough to make them laugh at the absurdity.

"Go over there."

Elyne pointed over, and the beast followed her instructions. They arrived quickly, the Manta Ray hovering a few kilometers above ground. Veyra took a step forward, dragging Tempestria along and smiling at the rest. "Follow us."

Tempestria blinked once before she was suddenly dragged off the edge of the Astraelis, plummeting toward the ground. Thankfully, she was not someone who feared heights. "... Couldn't you have warned first?"

Veyra chuckled. "I was expecting a little scream. Such a shame. You kept your cool quite easily."

Tempestria sighed and muttered. "I am a Sylvan who is attuned with flying, Veyra. You choose the wrong target."

"Right, right."

As they flew down, they could finally see that the surface of the Moon was vibrating so harshly that any earthquake they experienced before felt like a simple tremor in comparison. To avoid being affected, they all decided to float a few meters above the surface.

Once there, they could finally see the Moon's gray surface in detail. The previously undisturbed surface was now mixing, changing colors as the cracks spewed out heated substances like mini or mega volcanoes.

"Hm…" Cinderielle looked around and commented. "I can't feel heat in the same sense as in Ceperet. The feeling is like having a fire placed beside my skin."

Tempestria moved her hand and explained. "There is a lack of atmosphere to distribute heat. So, we are just feeling the radiation heat of the material."

Cinderielle recalled, "Right, Liu Shu's latest book on temperature described five methods of energy transfer: conduction, convection, radiation, mass transport, and aetheric transfer."

Harmonixia tilted her head, looking a bit lost. "Um… Could you explain that for normal Sylvans, please?"

Cinderielle chuckled. "It's simple! In order: through touch, through moving fluids or gases, through electromagnetic waves, by moving the heated object itself, and finally, through the influence of or essences."

"Oh." Harmonixia blinked. "That's actually much easier to understand than I expected."

Verdantia asked the air. "So, Liu Shu, what do you want us to do?"

Liu Shu giggled. "Are you all satisfied already? I can let you explore the moon a bit longer."

Verdantia looked around her. At a faraway eruption, massive chunks of moon floated up and arched across the dark sky. Then, roots equally big shot to the skies, grabbing those chunks and forcing them down onto the ground. The resulting collision raised a cloud of dust that soared into space.

In another location, the moon's floor was ripping open. The terrifying sound it should have made was swallowed by the vacuum, with no air to carry the vibrations.

Her lips twitched. Verdantia answered with an awkward smile. "I am… good. There is no need to explore it for now. We can also explore it after we know what we need to do, right?"

Everyone else laughed wryly with Verdantia. Liu Shu hummed and agreed. "Alright, we can do that. Did you carry the things I told you to?"

Verdantia and the others nodded, revealing a few large pouches they've been carrying all this time. "Well, using that, I wanted to ask you to try to make livable patches on the Moon. We don't need to make the big jump at once and terraform everything. So, I am leveling everything down at first so that we can create a few Havens for life and then expand from there. The place you are in right now is the first area to calm down."

Tempestria laughed awkwardly. "Calm down, you say…"

Liu Shu giggled. "You should've seen it at the beginning. The Moon was so stiff that the core's movement was quite literally dragging everything around and creating chasms hundreds of kilometers deep! Honestly, at one point, I feared the Moon might collapse entirely."

'Then why did you keep going!? We only have one Moon! Treat her with respect, please!'

Ignoring their twisting looks, Liu Shu continued. "Now, after many mass movements, most of the deepest chasms have collapsed and closed. The deepest one currently is around… 87 kilometers? Something like that. That's nothing compared to the Moon's over 2,600 kilometers in radius!"

Veyra coughed. "So, you want us to build a city here?"

"Yeah, but first, something very important. I freed the area for a reason, after all."

While they were confused as to what was happening, they heard Liu Shu's voice swallow everything like loud thunder, carrying the strength of the World Tree.

"."

The space in an area of several hundred kilometers fell under her absolute influence, and then space started folding and twisting as if it were paper being crumbled down by a pair of hands.

Veyra and the others quickly moved back, making some distance, while their eyes turned serious.

"Liu Shu, what are you doing!?"

The World Tree answered the white-haired Sylvan's exclamation. "I am filling the space with a protector."

Unlike the , the were part of her whole self. So, Liu Shu didn't entirely treat them as children, but as large branches with some degree of freedom to act by themselves.

As space distorted and twisted under the influence of the , ternary essence flowing towards it like a whirling, the soul began cracking. The next second, branches began growing onto themselves, twisting, devouring, and growing at a ridiculous speed.

1 meter… 10 meters… 100 meters… 1,000 meters…

The height of the exploded, reaching far beyond its floating point and spreading majestically like a flower. Then, from that flower, colors and form shifted, transforming into the gorgeous image of Liu Shu herself, only slightly smaller.

And so, not longer than 30 seconds later, a gargantuan tree with 70% of Liu Shu's stats manifested, her canopy swallowing the dark sky above them and filling it with beautiful colors from the

Cinderielle and the other Sylvans weren't that surprised because they had seen it before. Although the effects were not as violently majestic as what just transpired, it didn't make their hearts palpitate like the first time they saw it.

The envoys, on the other side, felt as if their bodies had become petrified on the spot. Liu Shu's ability to influence the Moon was already something reaching the limits of their understanding. However, that couldn't compare to what they just saw.

Forget summoning skills, what Liu Shu just used was a way to create a clone not much weaker than herself in less than a single minute! A single True World Tree was already tricky and complex enough to defeat, not to mention one that could, quite literally, copy itself at will!

Veyra gulped, moistening her dry throat. "That… How many do you have right now?"

Liu Shu was unsure as to why they asked, but she didn't mind answering. "Hm… Let me check… Aha. There are 94 left in my stash."

"..."

Verdantia and the others gently patted the envoys, sympathizing with them. Liu Shu, ignorant of the heart problems that she was creating for the , continued speaking cheerfully.

"I was thinking of moving the four copies on to one continent each, and summoning another copy on those that don't have them. Moreover, since the seas can't be unprotected, I will summon a few there as well. With their height, they can easily anchor on the seafloor and still poke out of the water."

"So…" Cinderielle asked, slowly digesting the information. "How many will you use on the Moon?"

Liu Shu pondered. "I will probably divide the Moon into upper and lower sections. I will place eight major cities, one in the middle of the sphere's eight main sections. So, there will be four on the top and four at the bottom. I will be careful to choose high locations, as I don't want the future seas to flood the cities."

"Seas…" Harmonixia tapped her chin and asked, curious. "I heard that the Moon influences the sea. So, how will Ceperet influence the sea here?"

Liu Shu answered cheerfully. "Yes, our seas respond to the Moon's pull. But unlike Ceperet, this Moon doesn't just keep one face toward its planet; both of them are locked together. Their rotations and orbits align perfectly, so their positions remain constant relative to each other. Because of that, the gravitational pull stays constant, and the Moon's future seas will be far calmer than those of Ceperet."

She added as a curiosity. "By the way, the side that faces Ceperet will have a slightly weaker pull, so people there will weigh a bit less." She teased. "If you want to weigh less, you just need to move to the dark side of the Moon~. Hahaha."

Everyone attentively absorbed the information, and finally, the moment of truth arrived.

Verdantia smiled. "Alright, I understand the superficial logic. So, how can we help you, love?"

"Easy!" Liu Shu exclaimed. "Do you see my 's surroundings? Make as large an area as you possibly can livable for non-levelers. If a Level 0 newborn can survive around my , then you have completed your missions… for now."

The girls nodded, finally understanding the materials in their pouches. They all had different seeds that could live in extreme environments and also enough materials to create a single

This is probably their operation base, and it will also be a bit of a test subject to see how organisms adapt to the Moon's surface.

"Alright. Let's get to work, then." Tempestria floated forward, landing on the ground. She commented. "After Liu Shu's appeared, it seems that she is using it to contain the moonquakes. She will probably become the protector of the city, avoiding the large Moon chunks orbiting around."

Cinderielle landed by her side and looked around. "While I can increase the surrounding heat, there is no sense in doing it without an atmosphere to keep that heat. Tempestria, you are the first one who needs to use her powers and create a temporary atmosphere."

Harmonixia landed by Tempestria's side. "I can help you link the atmosphere to the using harmony energy. That way, the air won't spread out without limits. However, there is a limit to my influence. And, sadly, I can't calculate those limits."

Verdantia chuckled. "Well, we will be able to learn all our limits rather quickly. So, don't worry and just try as hard as you can. Once the heat and atmosphere change, I will be able to start influencing the seeds we carried and see if they grow differently on the Moon's surface."

Tempestria closed her eyes for a second, connecting with the Aether Energy of the surroundings. Then, she opened her arms and eyes, her voice booming out. ", , !"

Both skills quickly resonated, and as they activated, Harmonixia waved her hand. ", , , !"

Their hearts began to beat as one, a loud thumping sound shaking their surroundings, and then, the tempest descended.

WOOSH!

A massive hurricane manifested from the nothingness, shaking the surroundings so harshly that even the began swaying under its influence. Then, Harmonixia's energies pulsed out, traveling through the storm like streaking violet lightning.

Wherever the purple lightning streaked, the tempest picked up even more speed, with more and more Wind Aether manifesting air around them.

The storm grew with each revolution, covering several kilometers in width as the first natural disaster in eons baptized the Moon's surface.

The Envoys moved back, their eyes flashing with endless surprise and shock. Veyra spoke, her heart trembling. "...Is this the strength of a Level 100 Sylvan? At their level, I was not even able to do a tenth of this!"

Lysara's face was serious. "That's not all. Tempestria's and Harmonixia's energies supposedly don't have a single point of resemblance. And yet, look at them. They are working together as if they are a single being."

During the time they took to speak, the storm Tempestria summoned became so violent that Liu Shu noticed her taking damage at a terrifying speed. This startled her to no end. 'Even if it only has 70% of my stats, that doesn't mean it is weak by any means!' Looking at her lovers, her heart was full of emotion and happiness. 'Kya! My wives are so strong!'

She was more than 100% sure that just these two together would be able to defeat her . 'If the four move together… they probably can fight a ... Wow! (✪ ω ✪)'
