The next day.
"Alright, this isn't too bad."
I stared at my reflection. More precisely, at the formal attire I had on. A simple black suit, trimmed with subtle gold embroidery. It wasn't extravagant by any means, yet something about it held a strange, compelling allure.
"...It could just be my face."
Julien's face was extremely handsome. To the point where any clothes could fit me without a problem.
In that sense, the simple suit was probably the best choice since the clothes didn't need to stand out so much.
'Yeah, I'm also going to a very important formal meeting. Can't be over the top.'
"Hoo."
I took a deep breath and fixed the clothes.
They were perfect and well-ironed. There wasn't really a need for me to do any fixing.
And yet...
"Maybe here. I should fix this part."
...I couldn't help but find any little flaw to be glaring.
"Maybe I should redo the tie? Maybe the knot isn't a good one?"
I pressed my hand against the head of the tie.
