Warmth continued to trail down Julien's cheeks as he kept his gaze fixed ahead. Behind them, the cheers of the crowd resounded throughout the surroundings, almost painfully loud against the silence between the two brothers.
Noel's lips parted, but eventually, he said nothing.
Instead, he pressed himself a little closer against Julien's back, feeling a warmth he had almost forgotten existed.

He almost laughed, but the sound never made it past his throat.

This was his brother they were talking about.
