Chapter 6 - Swap

It was a sunny morning.

Ange and Charlotte were talking about something in the princess' room.

Ange was wearing a princess dress when Charlotte put on Ange's clothes. The girls started arguing.

— I think that this replacement will get in the way now. — Ange was saying, sitting in front of the mirror.

— I wasn't the first to start an argument. — Charlotte replied, putting the crown on Ange.

Ange's face changed to a frown.

— It was a reckless act done on emotion.

— And what would your judgment say if he found out the truth? — The princess asked smilingly.

Ange sighed.

— Okay, fine, but only for one day. — Ange asked.

— That's nice. — Charlotte continued to smile.

The team room.

Chise, Beatrice, Glory and Dorothy are sitting in it. The latter are being vigorously discussed.

— I still can't believe you drank me too much last night, —Dorothy said.

— And I said that the wine was bullshit. — Svyat claimed.

— Do you even know how much it costs? — Beatrice chimed in.

— Well, how much? — Glory was sipping tea.

Dorothy whispered the price in Svyat's ear. The kid choked.

— I drank gasoline from a mug on ghost street, and it's cheaper...

Charlotte and Ange enter the room. Svyat immediately fell silent, as if he had seen a huge flying lizard.

Ange started talking.

— Dorothy, did you receive any assignments from the control today?

Dorothy thought about it.

— No, I think today is our day off.

— But Miss Dorothy, what about classes? — Beatrice chimed in.

— Oh, right, that's right. — Dorothy said, glancing at the Svyat. — you should go too, or you'll have questions, Glory Lavigne. — Dorothy continued sarcastically.

Svyat took a sip and answered.

— All right, Miss Dolly.

Dorothy chuckled.

— 1:1.

Chise complained.

— Are you having an intellectual duel?

Dorothy and Svyat in one voice.

— No.

— As for me, this is hilarious childishness. — Charlotte was saying, looking at Dorothy. — Miss Dolly, could you give me a ride? — Today is a meeting between the entire royal family.

— Why not, classes can wait. — Dorothy replied.

— Okay, I'm going to get ready. — Charlotte said smilingly, leaving the room.

Ange came out too.

Chise asked.

— Have you noticed that the princess is behaving strangely?

— Maybe he's worried, maybe all the heirs will come together at the meeting. — Beatrice replied.

Svyat sipped his tea and said monotonously.

— And there's something wrong with the face.

Classes have started.

Chise, Beatrice, and Ange sat in their classrooms and studied hard. The saint stubbornly did not understand what class he was sitting in.

Meanwhile, Charlotte and Dorothy arrived at the place. There the princess met the chamberlain again. He offered to play chess. During the game, Winston started talking.

— And what's the point of returning to your family?

Charlotte hesitated

Winston continued.

— I heard you haven't been here for a long time, except for the ball 2 days ago. And in a word, you are not the only one who returned home.

Moving the pieces, the princess asked.

— Who do you mean?

— Prince Richard, he returned from abroad last night. — the chamberlain explained.

— That sounds great. — The princess replied in a calm voice.

Winston examined the board and amicably suggested a draw. Charlotte politely agreed, not hiding her joy at the result.

Winston added.

— And good luck at the performance.

Charlotte thanked the chamberlain and left.

Meanwhile, Svyat, who was in class, fell into thought.

"It's strange, all this," frowning, he looked at the board of Svyats.

"And Charlotte and Ange were acting strangely. Maybe they want to get rid of me?" — the boy continued, twisting the pen.

"Hmm... Or maybe... moth" — Svyat abruptly asked to leave. He abruptly rushed to the exit. Arriving at the garage, the Saint asked, almost interrogating.

— Will you take me to the royal?!

Steve, bored on the couch, consulted.

— Now?

Svyat, catch breath.

— Yes, there generally... Charlotte and Dor...

— Let's go, you got it, — Steve immediately started the car. They went to the royal house.

Meanwhile, at the royal house, Dorothy was talking to Charlotte.

— How long have you been like this? — Dorothy shot him a disapproving look.

— Well, who started this argument? — Charlotte frowned.

Dorothy chuckled.

— Why, then, was it necessary to agree? You knew I was going to win anyway, and with luck, you would have lost.

— What are you implying? — Charlotte got angry.

The chamberlain came and said.

— Your speech is in a couple of minutes.

Charlotte got nervous, but went to get ready.

Just before the start, Svyat and Steve burst in. When Glory saw Dorothy, he asked.

— So where is she?

Surprised by the boy's appearance, Dorothy replied.

— There. — She pointed in the direction of the piano.

Svyat rushed there, and Steve stayed with Dorothy.

— Honestly, I don't know how you do business with this child.

— On the one hand, it's a problem, but on the other, it's even fun. — Dorothy replied.

People crowded in front of the piano. Svyat saw through the crack that the performance was about to begin. Seeing the tools in the distance, I went to them.

Charlotte was worried, but she started playing.(the music is "A page my story"), but the first attempt was cut short. The second one began anxiously, and Svyat joined the composition with a guitar, playing along. From that moment on, the song went for the best. Before the final chorus, Svyat began to play along quieter and quieter, so that only Charlotte's playing could be heard. The princess played the last note, and the room was silent. In the distance, someone began to clap softly, after which a roar of applause sounded along the chain.

Charlotte smiled, looking at Svyat, and saw that he was clapping the most calmly, but at the same time not hiding his joy.

Then he handed over something and left.

Approaching the car, Steve asked Svyat.

— Which coffin should I order for you?

Svyat was taken aback, but he thought about it.

— A stone one will do.

Meanwhile, Charlotte looked at the messages and gave them to Dorothy.

When Dorothy arrived at the academy, she handed the note to Ange.

Chise and Beatrice were in the room, checking whether the katana could withstand a heavy load, and when they saw Dorothy come in, they asked.

— Will Miss be back soon?

— Hmm, she has some urgent business.

At that moment in the pub, Svyat was sitting at a table by the window.

Ange came into the pub and saw a bored Svyat and sat down with him.

Svyat grinned.

— Yes, indeed, the faces are different.

— Well, you should learn how to make compliments. — Ange stated.

Svyat smiled and began to pour the wine.

— Well, since you've come, tell me what to do in your place.

Ange understood at that moment, too.
