The next day Naruto wakes up late, as the sun has already risen on the horizon. He usually wakes up before the sun rises, but it seems like the fatigue that has accumulated has finally caught up to him.
While doing a preparation for his coffee, Naruto noticed a hawk slowly landing on the open window. What attracted him the most was the fact that the hawk was carrying a scroll.
Naruto slowly makes his way to the hawk and gets the scroll, which clearly was sent to him, but he doesn't know who the messenger is, but he will definitely learn it after opening the scroll.
Once Naruto received the scroll, the hawk didn't waste time and flew in the sky towards an unknown location, and Naruto didn't care about the hawk but focused on the scroll.
Naruto examined the scroll to see if it was trapped or anything dangerous but judged that it wasn't and slowly opened the scroll.
Morning, Naruto. I wanted to let you know that you and your teammates have the next few days off due to the recent events. Use them wisely for rest and recovery. I'll be letting you know when we'll be meeting up again.
- Fugaku Uchiha.
'So he manages to gather information about me this quickly. I really underestimate his capabilities, Naruto thought to himself as he slowly burned the scroll.
It was clear to Naruto that after they returned to the village, Fugaku didn't waste any time and investigated everything about him.
Fugaku clearly wanted to know more about his mysterious students after seeing the interaction between Naruto and Miguel and the possible fact that Naruto was leaving the village without anyone noticing.
The only thing that surprised Naruto was the fact that Fugaku managed to guess the location of his apartments despite other ninja not being able to find any clue about it.
'It seems like aside from Kakashi, Fugaku also learned about the location of this apartment. I don't know what Fugaku's next action will be. Should I move out? 'Naruto thought while holding his chin.
'Let's think about this topic later,' Naruto added before resuming what he previously did.
While Naruto was preparing to finish his coffee, the other ninja, or more specifically, the Jonin ninja in the village, managed to learn about the terrible situation that happened to Kakashi.
This news brings everyone a shock, especially after learning that Kakashi almost died.
Others thought that yesterday's news about Kakashi was false and a distraction he uses for his next mission, but they didn't expect it to be true.
Those who had a close connection to Kakashi immediately visited the Leaf Hospital to learn about his condition and find out about the attack he suffered.
The first one who visits is none other than Might Guy, one of his friends and his rival as well.
After learning the terrible situation of his rival Might Guy, without hesitation, he stopped his team activities as he made his way towards the Leaf Hospital to learn more about the condition of his friends.
This was especially true after learning the traumatic experience Kakashi experienced, which without a doubt will bring out another trauma within him, and Might Guy didn't want that to happen.
The next group who visited Kakashi was his three students, who just learned about the situation of their sensei, especially the fact that they saw him teaching them just yesterday, and this made them more confused about the situation than anyone else.
Moments later a group of Jonin followed up, as they also wanted to know more about Kakashi's condition and the reason behind it.
"Lady Tsunade, how is his condition?" Might Guy said so loudly that the other patients on the floor heard him.
"His condition is stable, and we are just waiting for him to regain consciousness," Tsunade calmly responds.
"Is there any information about what's behind this incident?" Kurenai softly asks, making sure the patients didn't hear her.
Tsunade slightly shakes her head. "It's still under investigation, but according to the news I received, they still failed to find any clues about the culprit behind it."
Tsunade then turns her head towards Sasuke, Kaori, and Hisateru. "You three should do your own training for the time being until Kakashi fully recovers."
The three Genin nod while glancing at Kakashi, who is lying in the bed sleeping peacefully, but they heard about the terrible situation he faces, so they can't think of the fact that the person who is peacefully sleeping in front of them suffered terribly.
At the Park.
Both Hinata and Satsuki receive similar news from their sensei, which really brought the two girls joy since they can finally start investigating the cursed spirits that Naruto mentioned before in the Land of Waves.
Both girls decide to meet at the park, and currently Hinata is the first person who arrives in the park.
While looking at the surroundings, Hinata notices Keimei, who is currently sitting at the bench. What really caught Hinata's attention wasn't Keimei's presence but the serious expression on her face.
'What happened to her? 'Hinata asks inwardly.
After seeing Keimei's serious expression, the first thing Hinata thought was that Keimei faced a terrible problem.
Hinata wanted to help if her conjecture was true, but she had an appointment with Satsuki, and she didn't want to end their appointment.
After thinking deeply, she decides to first talk to Keimei. If she can provide help in a short period of time, then she will help, but if she can't, she can only apologize to Keimei and hope for the latter's understanding.
"Hey, Keimei, long time no see," Hinata greets as cheerfully as she can but fails spectacularly.
"Hello, Hinata," Keimei responds calmly.
"I didn't expect to meet you here," she added.
"It's currently our rest day after finishing a difficult mission."
"I see..."
"Is there a problem, Keimei? You had such a serious expression on your face," Hinata finally asks with a tone full of concern.
"Come, sit down with me so I can tell you," Keimei responds. Her eyes shone mischievously for a moment, but Hinata didn't notice it.
Hinata nods and slowly sits down next to Keimei while looking at her face.
"You see..."
Hinata's expression transforms in various ways, unable to digest what she just heard.
Moments later she placed her elbows on her knees and let her chin rest on her two hands. A thoughtful and serious expression appeared on her face at this moment, which Keimei followed suit.
A few moments later, Satsuki arrives at the park and quickly notices both Keimei and Hinata, who wear thoughtful and serious expressions.
A confusion suddenly struck within Satsuki, unable to think of any reason behind the two who seemed to think deeply about some matters.
'I hope it's not annoying,' Satsuki thought to herself.
"Hi, Hinata and Keimei." Satsuki's eyes linger a few moments longer at Keimei.
"Hello, Satsuki." Both Hinata and Keimei respond in unison.
"Is there a problem?" Satsuki asks directly while looking at the two girls in front of her.
"Come sit down with us so we can tell you," Hinata softly said.
"Okay," Satsuki nods and slowly sits on the bench.
"Satsuki... The bench is freshly painted," Keimei said in a low and serious tone.
Satsuki's body froze for a moment, unable to believe the news she just heard. Moments later she slowly turns her head towards Hinata and Keimei, who are barely holding back laughter.
"You asshole!" Satsuki whispers, but the rage she felt was felt by Hinata and Keimei, resulting in the two girls laughing.
"Hahaha... Don't take it seriously... hahaha," Keimei tries to say it calmly but fails spectacularly, which only infuriates Satsuki.
Seeing Satsuki angry but unable to do anything made Keimei laugh even harder, which infected Hinata.
She also felt anger within her after hearing the fact that the bench she sat down on was freshly painted, but her anger quickly vanished after Keimei proposed a plan to her.
She just didn't expect that the next victim would be Satsuki. They had different targets in mind, and the arrival of Satsuki can be considered bad luck.
"Calm down, Satsuki," Hinata softly said.
"You aren't the person we expected to arrive. In fact, we had a different person in mind, but..." Hinata covers her mouth with her hands, but Satsuki is able to see the enjoyment Hinata felt right now.
Satsuki stared at the girls next to her before releasing a sigh. She knows it was pointless to be angry about the situation since it's already happened and there's no way to change it.
But what happened today will definitely be marked within her mind, and she will take her revenge no matter what.
"So who is the person you were originally planning to prank?" Satsuki asks as calmly as she can.
Hinata's lips curled upwards, and she informed Satsuki about the intended target, and a smile appeared on Satsuki's face.
Immediately after, the three girls act as if they currently face a terrible problem.
After patiently waiting, someone arrived at the park.
This person is wearing a dark navy high-collared jacket with long sleeves. The collar and cuffs are red, and there are golden buttons on the front near the shoulder. He is also wearing dark navy pants and black shoes.
This person had white hair and was wearing dark sunglasses.
This person is none other than Naruto, who slowly looks at the surroundings as if he were looking for someone.
Naruto saw Satsuki, Hinata, and Keimei sitting on the bench, and this slightly surprised him. It was rare for the three girls to interact with each other, which makes him surprised and intrigued at the same time.
Naruto slowly made his way towards the three. This didn't escape from the three girls' eyes, yet they acted as if they didn't notice him.
"Hello, what's wrong with you?" Naruto carefree asks.
"Come sit down with us so we can tell you," Satsuki said in a serious voice, causing Naruto to raise one of his eyebrows.
Naruto's eyes then landed at the available space on the bench and stared at it for a moment. His eyes suddenly shone in realization, and his lips slowly curled upwards, attracting the three girls' attention.
"I see... The bench is freshly painted and hasn't dried yet, am I right?" Naruto's eyes landed on the three girls.
They didn't respond, but Naruto already saw from their body action that it was the correct conjecture and laughed out loud.
The three girls' cheeks slowly turn red, especially Hinata, who had her whole face turn crimson.
