Like a long-awaited shower during a drought, gentle spring rain, or a warm fireplace in winter, a hearty meal when hungry. All the Asgardians felt a continuous vitality erupting from within themselves. This was a completely different feeling from replenishing divine power — the restoration of divine power comes from within, so it's completely smooth, only comfort and pleasure.
Not only that, the Main Universe Thor found all the noise in his head swept away. The anxious and irritable emotions disappeared completely, making him feel as tranquil as newborn.
Suddenly, an extremely bright light lit up in the center of the battlefield, like a silent thunderbolt; in an instant, it turned into a giant wave tearing everything apart, exploding with the swiftness of lightning, clearing all the Green Lantern energy on the battlefield.
Immediately after, another kind of destructive power that instills fear started accumulating. The Main Universe Thor focused and saw that the Divine King standing at the battlefield's center had a universe cracking open at the tip of the raised long spear emitting a cold light.
"Retreat quickly!" Hal, who was also watching this scene, turned and shouted, "Prepare to break through! Break through freely! Hurry!!!"
"Don't think about running!" The Main Universe Thor gritted his teeth and stomped his foot. Even though he felt some tremor in his heart, he still dutifully blocked the enemy.
The other Thors and Asgardians were the same. Even though they knew that if it was as they feared, they might not escape either; but even in death, they had to drag someone down with them.
Under the desperate blockade of the Asgardians, the result of their attempt to break through freely was almost null. Virtually none of them got out, and the destructive power became more astonishing, even detected by the Apocalypse Star.
Darkseid, sitting on the throne, suddenly stood up and looked in a certain direction. He then took out a communicator and said to Batman, "If you don't find a way soon, you might as well say goodbye to the Green Lanterns."
The Primary Universe Batman also observed the energy activity, but he did not know what this energy was or how it was active. He immediately asked Darkseid, "What's going on???"
"Cosmic explosion," Darkseid said, "someone opposite has the Power of Creation. During their attempt to create a universe, they exploded an incomplete form, simulating an incomplete version of the Big Bang. As for its power…"
The Primary Universe Batman had no patience to listen to the end, nor did he need to. The power of a new universe exploding is unimaginable and completely exceeds any limit a carbon-based organism can withstand, including the God Clan — it's either completely dead or even more thoroughly dead.
"Flash!!!" The Primary Universe Batman roared on the channel, "I need you all to head to the center of the explosion immediately, do everything you can to slow down time there!! Hurry!!!"
The Flashes looked at each other. The Primary Universe Flash gritted his teeth, overcame his survival instincts, and headed towards the explosion center. The others immediately followed suit.
The Main Universe Thor noticed their movements but had no means to intercept. They lacked the ability to interfere with the Divine Speed, only hoping the Divine King wouldn't falter.
The Flashes sprinted in their divine speed, but the next second hit an orange barrier. They had never encountered such a situation, so they tumbled down with painful cries.
However, the orange barrier was not a barrier, but a teleportation portal. At this moment, a person walked out from the portal, it was the agent.
He walked up to the Primary Universe Flash still lying on the ground, showed his ID, and said, "Special Response Unit Agent Schiller Rodriguez from the Time Management Bureau. You have violated 25 time laws including illegal time jumps. Come with me."
"What the hell is the Time Management Bureau?!" The Primary Universe Flash asked, holding his head.
"Do you think every place, like your universe, allows you to wander freely in time?" Another voice sounded. Mobius emerged from the teleportation portal, followed by a large team from the Time Management Bureau, fully armed, weapons aimed at the Flashes.
"The Time Management Bureau is dedicated to managing the universe's timelines, ensuring dangerous time offenders do not destroy them, causing cosmic collapse. I've heard you've had such a tragedy there, perpetrated by someone in a red suit… Flash?"
"Oh my god, indeed your honor," Mobius said dramatically, "Honestly, the most dangerous time criminals we've ever had here aren't as troublesome as you, Mr. Barry Allen. Are you going to cooperate or do you plan to fight us?"
The Primary Universe Flash swallowed hard. The Flash's ability is lightning, more precisely creating and using Divine Speed. Divine Speed is his superpower itself — not all Flashes are like Barry, having other superpowers within Divine Speed. Being trapped in the timeline, he was basically powerless.
"There's about to be a very dangerous explosion outside, not only possibly wiping us out, but also threatening the cosmos. We're trying to stop it." The Primary Universe Flash was still trying to explain.
"Enough talk, take them!" Mobius waved his hand, and the Time Management Bureau soldiers immediately rushed to subdue the Flashes and dragged them into the Time Management Bureau's teleportation portal.
The Primary Universe Flash and Schiller walked at the end. He glared at Schiller. Schiller understood his intention, shook his head and smiled, saying: "Agents don't take stances. Whoever offers the best conditions, I work for them. And I happen to have a knack for finding a good job anywhere."
The group's silhouettes disappeared into the teleportation portal, leaving Barry to hurriedly arrive. Seeing the traces within the Divine Speed, he frustratingly slapped his forehead, and after exiting the Divine Speed, he immediately sent a communication to the Primary Universe Batman.
"It seems that the Divine Speed merged with some kind of power over here, and there are also people here who can move freely in timelines. The Flashes, lacking self-protection ability, were taken by them."
The bad news kept coming, and the Primary Universe Batman felt his heart sinking continuously. He made a decision in his mind, turned to the Main Universe Superman, and asked: "Is that Justice League around?"
"You mean the one that gets off work at 6:30? Bruce and Diana didn't come, Clark just arrived."
"Go get him over here."
When Clark arrived in front of the Primary Universe Batman, he saw that his face looked very bad. He asked with some concern: "Are you all right? You look like you're about to die."
"Thanks for the concern, I'm far from dying." Primary Universe Batman took a deep breath and said, "You mentioned you have a brother, and you also said he has the ability to travel through time, right?"
"Yes. His name is Hai'er, he is the adopted son of my parents, and a Kryptonian orphan. On Krypton, he possessed powers far beyond other Kryptonians, not only could he interfere with time, but he could also appear on all timelines simultaneously. Almost no one could handle him."
"Can you contact him?"
"Sorry, he doesn't participate in wars." Clark took a step back and said, "He's helping out at my family's farm, he should be busy harvesting beets right now. This is one of the few leisurely times in his life, I certainly won't drag him back into the mire of war and violence."
"I apologize." Primary Universe Batman said, "Of course, I hope he can come to help me, but I'm not saying this purely out of necessity for persuasion — does he know what you're doing?"
Clark pressed his lips together, looking at Primary Universe Batman. Primary Universe Batman said, "Since you are here, it is natural that you want to do your part. But participating in war is extremely dangerous. Even if you are prepared for injury and sacrifice, can your brother accept all of this? If he cannot, choosing to hide it from him and let him live a leisurely life is a form of deception and harm. As such a powerful Super Kryptonian, he should not be the one you need to protect, he has the right to know and choose."
Clark let out a long sigh and said, "Okay, you're right. I'm just worried that when my parents find out both of their sons are going to the battlefield, they'll faint from sadness."
"You can let Kara comfort them for a bit."
"Kara came earlier than I did."
"Then trust Martha." Primary Universe Batman said, "They will surely manage to harvest all the beets successfully, you just have to wait to drink beet soup."
Clark turned and walked away. Primary Universe Batman turned back, just in time to see the caring and compassionate look in Main Universe Superman's eyes.
"I know you didn't want to do this." Main Universe Superman said, "I believe he understands, we all understand. My parents will understand too."
Main Universe Superman walked over, patted Primary Universe Batman on the shoulder, and said, "If someone must stand in this position to bear it all, I don't want it to be you. But I also understand it can only be you. You take the blame for the other Batmen, and every Superman will give you the greatest tolerance and help. The requests you make to them are exactly what they hope for, not harming them. I hope you remember this, Bruce."
Primary Universe Batman said nothing, just silently turned his head and turned away, avoiding those bright blue eyes. Bats don't cry, but when his heart begins to soften, it must be because Superman rushes in like the ocean, just to bring the last rain when his heart starts to dry.
Loki was standing on the rooftop of the abandoned outpost, looking at the light not far away. Their plan was successful — the Asgardians held the front battlefield, and the only one who could have countermeasures, the Flash, was taken away by the Time Management Bureau. Once the cosmos body created by Thor explodes, all the enemies present will be wiped out.
She recalled the argument that took place in the Asgard base before the battle started.
"You're going to the front lines yourself?!" Loki looked at Thor in disbelief and said, "Don't tell me you got itchy seeing so many counterparts taking action. Now is not the time to be willful!"
"I'm not being willful, Loki, I have a good reason to go." Thor said calmly.
"What reason could you have?!"
"What reason do you have to stop me from going to battle?"
"It's dangerous." Loki took another step forward, looking up at her brother and said, "You are different from them. They are just Princes, and you are the Divine King, you need to lead Asgard. Even if you want to go to the battlefield, there will be plenty of opportunities later, it's unnecessary to do it now."
"If I had used that excuse to stall you before, leaving you in the Fairy Palace, I would have had a lot less trouble." Thor said with a smile.
Loki was instantly speechless. She opened her mouth and said, "That's different. Back then I... I..."
She stuttered unusually, searching her entire brain but finding no reason — because back then Thor brought her to the battlefield knowing she was a burden, then protected her on the battlefield, purely bringing trouble on himself, but not bothering at all.
"I truly have a legitimate reason." Thor smiled, then mysteriously extended One Hand and said, "Look at this?"
Loki leaned in to look but saw only a white light. Then she used Divine Power to see, and saw a crack; looking more closely, it seemed as if there was a universe between the cracks.
Loki raised her eyes, looking at Thor in disbelief.
"After I comprehended the new life force of thunder and fire, I started researching the peculiarities of this force. Then I discovered that it not only represents light but also represents the creative and generative force of the cosmos's essence. So I thought, maybe I could create something with this force."
"And then you created a universe?!!"
"Not finished." Thor shook his head and said, "In fact, I can't finish it. Because Eternity said if I dare try again, he'll give us a Ragnarök manually. So this will probably always remain unfinished."
"You're not trying to..."
"That's right, I plan to blow it up."
