Main Universe Magneto is floating in the vast universe space, silently gazing at the quietly spinning blue planet in front of him.
How did I end up here? Wasn't I in the Andromeda Galaxy? Is this the legendary "if the mountain won't come to me, I'll go to the mountain"?
"Erik... Erik? Erik?!"
The voice of Main Universe Professor X echoed several times in his mind before he finally snapped back and said, "What's up?"
"I was about to ask you what's going on. Didn't you say you were just going out for some fresh air? Why haven't you returned yet? Everyone's waiting for you."
"Don't wait for me," Main Universe Magneto said, "go ask those two from the Central Universe. They... Earth... Andromeda Galaxy... I mean..."
"What's wrong with you?!" Main Universe Professor X's tone was a bit anxious.
Main Universe Magneto really didn't know how to explain it, so he just took off his helmet and said, "See for yourself."
"What exactly did you see that could make you... Oh, God! This... it... I... huh???"
"Professor. Professor?!" Main Universe Quicksilver gently patted the shoulder of Main Universe Professor X and said, "Professor, are you finished? If there's no problem, I need to continue my patrol. I..."
"Wait, Pietro," Main Universe Professor X said, "hold off on going out for a moment."
"But it's almost time for my shift change," Main Universe Quicksilver said a little embarrassedly, "I've already had someone cover a shift for me in another universe; I can't miss it this time."
"My point is, no one should go out right now." Professor X sent a notification in his mind, then immediately connected to Charles from the Central Universe's Mind Network and asked: "What's going on?"
"What?" Charles was obviously busy, only taking a moment to respond.
"That planet outside."
"Which one?"
"The blue one."
"Where did that blue planet come from? There are no blue ones in the Andromeda Galaxy... Oh, that's not from the Andromeda Galaxy, it's just here to lay low for a bit; it'll head back soon. No need to worry too much."
"...lay low?"
"By the way, I noticed the Magneto from your universe isn't in the base; tell him to hurry back. Earth has attracted quite a formidable entity, Wanda needs to handle it; everyone else should stay clear."
"I think the immediate priority is to explain why Earth is in the Andromeda Galaxy, don't you think? Charles?"
"There's really nothing to explain," Charles said, "as you can see, our universe's Earth has some exceptionally flexible, defensive counterattack emergency measures."
"So it can run away?"
"Yes, and it doesn't run slow. It only set out three minutes ago and here it is already."
The notification sent by Main Universe Professor X was still a bit late. Magneto is extremely sensitive to changes in the universe's magnetic fields, and when Earth leaped over, the superluminal teleportation's magnetic fluctuations had already attracted the attention of all Magnetos. Thus, all the Magnetos gathered in a circle, silently observing the quietly spinning azure planet in the cosmos.
"This..."
"It..."
"Um..."
Several Magnetos attempted to speak during this time, but as the words circled at the tip of their tongues, they found themselves at a loss for what to say.
"I have to say, you guys have quite a good relationship with the ordinary human government," Main Universe Magneto finally pointed out something commendable to Central Universe Erik. From his expression, it was clear this was the result of racking his brains.
The other Magnetos had to admit, regardless of how the plan to run off with the whole Earth was made and executed, the fact that Earth's first stop during its escape was a mutant stronghold is a sign of tremendous trust in mutants, isn't it?
Magnetos from other universes were scratching their heads, unable to fathom how Earth's leaders agreed to toss their homeland into a mutant nest.
"Ahem," Erik cleared his throat. Just as he was about to speak, a scarlet figure descended above Earth. She looked around for quite a while but didn't seem to find what she was looking for, so she flew toward Erik.
"Um, Dad, wasn't there supposed to be an enemy? Where is it?"
"Maybe it hasn't arrived yet," Erik said, "Earth's jump speed is too fast; the opponent might not have kept up. The mages should have gone to find it. When you do strike later, be gentle; don't end up wrecking the Sky Island."
Scarlet Witch Wanda stretched her arms and shook her head, saying, "Lately, taking care of kids has been making me feel dizzy; I'm itching to hit something. Hopefully, that Eye Demon is tough enough to take a beating."
Main Universe Magneto glanced at Wanda, turned his head back. After a moment, he turned to look again, then turned back once more.
Wanda noticed his gaze and felt a bit puzzled. She lowered her voice and asked Erik, "Why do they keep staring at me?"
"Because you're beautiful."
Wanda looked down at herself and said, "I feel like I've gotten a bit chubby lately. I wore loose clothes on purpose; it shouldn't be too obvious, right?"
"How many weeks along is the baby?"
"Just 18 weeks," Wanda measured her waist with her hands again, then said, "I feel much slimmer than my first pregnancy. After all, it was twins back then, and this time it's just one."
Erik said nothing, but at the thought of less than half a year until another future Demon Lord of Mayhem would be born, he visibly withered. This baby is yours to handle; whoever has to take care of it will go crazy.
When he used to take care of Anya, Anya was just an ordinary little girl who also had a weak heart, limited mobility, and spent most of her time on the hospital bed, so he didn't feel much about it.
If he had known about Wanda's two brothers, along with Little Rogers and Franklin, he would have never agreed to the task of child-rearing. The only difference between taking care of these four little demons and staying in a concentration camp is that the concentration camp is a bit quieter.
"You're pregnant?" Main Universe Magneto asked after holding back for a long time.
Wanda nodded and said, "Yes. It's a girl this time. I've been pregnant on and off for about a year, but the gestation period has only been just over four months. She's healthy, and she even kicked me last night."
"What did you just say you were going to do?" Main Universe Magneto asked.
"What?" Wanda didn't quite understand at first, but then she realized and said, "Oh, the mages told me there was a rather troublesome guy pursuing Earth. I'm just a bit worn out from taking care of the kids, so I came out for some fresh air, and I thought I'd help them out... Don't look at me with that worried expression, I'm not just an ordinary person, being pregnant doesn't really affect me."
All the Magnetos showed disapproving expressions.
Wanda ignored them and rolled her eyes at them, then she said to Erik, "Didn't Professor X notify you? You know, my moves tend to be quite noticeable, so it's best if there are no idle people around."
After saying this, she kept glancing at the other Magnetos, feeling her hint was evident. But Erik shook his head and said, "In this case, they might not listen to Charles."
"Alright, then I guess it's up to me to clear the area," Wanda shrugged and said.
Just as she was about to continue speaking, the space not far from Earth suddenly fluctuated violently, an aura of fear arose, and several sudden bursts of magic light illuminated. Strange's roar echoed in everyone's ears: "Stop!! Eye Demon!!!"
"It's here!" Wanda roared immediately. The power of Scarlet burst forth like a tsunami, first hitting the circle of Magnetos.
With a whoosh, all the Magnetos were blown away by the mighty power of Scarlet. Wanda shouted again, countless scarlet energies spread out like ribbons, wrapping around the shadowy figure that hadn't fully materialized from the void.
The originally vast and boundless cosmos was awash in red as far as the eye could see. The power of Scarlet, varying from deep to light shades, almost transformed the place into a scarlet dimension. The massive figure that was already besieged by magical powers found its progress even more difficult.
"Earth!" Main Universe Magneto shouted, "Careful with Earth!"
"No need to worry about Earth," Erik replied, "Earth will take care of itself."
As if to prove his point, the blue planet that had been quietly spinning suddenly burst out with a dazzling light and began retreating at sub-light speed. After withdrawing from the influence of the power of Scarlet, it jumped to the other end of the star system at superluminal speed.
Main Universe Magneto couldn't help but look back, but Earth was already out of sight by then. Distracted, he was flipped over by the power of Scarlet once more.
"Wanda, let it in!" Strange shouted.
Wanda nodded, easing her strength slightly, allowing the massive body of the Eye Demon to appear in the void. The moment its silhouette solidified, Wanda felt her eyes prick and her head grow dizzy.
"Don't look at it!" Strange reminded her.
Having previously encountered the Outer God, Wanda certainly understood this feeling. She immediately abandoned her human form, transforming completely into the power of Scarlet. Her senses shifted from human senses to omnipresent Scarlet, rendering the Outer God unable to invade this form of senses.
"What should we do?" Wanda's voice, now transformed into the power of Scarlet, carried an innate majesty and divinity. She said, "I can expel it immediately, but I think we should keep it here!"
"Can you kill it?"
"No, but I can devour most of its power, so it can no longer manifest a physical form," Wanda said.
Strange didn't respond, but Wanda knew he acquiesced. So, she began to take action.
The power of Scarlet released further, stirring the chaos power of the entire cosmos, immersing the entire Andromeda Galaxy in red. These forces continuously surged toward the Eye Demon, bit by bit gnawing away, continually wrapping and eroding.
Initially, the one-eyed monster could still struggle a bit, but none of the Outer God's projections in other universes could surpass the rules of this universe. And the power of Scarlet used by Wanda derived from the universe's fundamental chaotic power, making the Eye Demon unable to resist under such power for long.
"I command you to depart!" Wanda's voice echoed in the vast universe space. The furious cries from the Eye Demon couldn't penetrate the layers of scarlet power curtain, its body slowly becoming transparent, and that aura of fear gradually dissipated.
But at this moment, Wanda frowned. She had eroded all the power of the Eye Demon, but for some reason, she couldn't expel it from this universe. Even the channel it came through had completely closed. Wanda tried repeatedly but to no avail.
Suddenly, another figure appeared behind the mages.
"Master!" Strange turned his head and shouted.
"I'm back," The Ancient One said with hands clasped, floating in the universe space, "Only you can expel it, Steven. This is your destiny."
Strange's gaze sharpened. He flew forward and said to Wanda: "Leave it to me."
Wanda nodded at him, gradually retracting the power of Scarlet, backing away slightly. Strange stared hard at the Eye Demon, knowing that even in its weakened state, it was still an opponent not to be underestimated, and this battle was one he must win.
Without other superheroes, Strange was unrestrained. In an instant, an enormous multi-armed godlike figure rose behind him. Even Earth appeared like a grain of sand before this massive deity, and the human race seemed insignificantly small by comparison.
Strange closed his eyes, bringing his palms together, his cloak fluttering wildly in the turbulent energy. The energy began to gather gradually, and suddenly, he and the godlike figure opened their eyes simultaneously. With a burst of energy reaching the individual universe's limit, the entire cosmos resonated with a shudder.
