"Are you saying he compressed a sun into a tiny black dot?" Stark paused for a moment, and said, "Isn't that just handcrafting a black hole? Small scale. I've seen Magneto do it before, nothing impressive."
"He... he ate the tiny black dot."
"What???!!!"
In mid-air, the tiny black dot that had been compressed to the extreme suddenly began absorbing all surrounding light. Although this range was limited to being near Lord Superman and did not affect others, soon darkness began to spread because Lord Superman had consumed the tiny black dot.
Gray mist also let out a cry and ran toward the edge with greed. Greed was still exclaiming, "Truly worthy of Batman, grasping the essence of Superman's superpowers in one go. Since absorbing sunlight can make him stronger, what could be more efficient than a black hole capturing light?"
"What's going on?!" Pikachu was also cursing as he scrambled away on his four short legs, saying, "How can a carbon-based body's physical form withstand a black hole..."
"Theoretically, it's possible," Peter said, "A black hole is essentially a dense celestial body, and due to its excessive density, it causes various astronomical phenomena. But if a celestial body's density exceeds that of a black hole, it could potentially capture a black hole."
"Don't tell me, Kryptonian's bodies have a density greater than a black hole..."
"For carbon-based life, the strength and density of the body are certainly correlated," Peter said, "Looking at the strength of Kryptonian bodies, their density must be high too. The reason they don't disturb gravity is that they inherently possess a controllable gravitational field. Though, even in this case, the density shouldn't be so high as to capture a black hole. How did Batman achieve that?"
"I suspect Batman might have used some molecular-level modifications to compress Superman's body's density to a single point," Stark said, "If you compare Superman's body to an entire star system, Batman compressed all the celestial bodies in that system into the size of a marble. With such accumulated density, and a constant gravitational field, he could indeed capture and consume a black hole."
"But I don't understand the purpose of this," Steve said, "Making oneself a large black hole just to look cooler?"
"Of course not, it's to more efficiently capture photons," Stark said, "Superman gets stronger by basking in the sun, but nobody knows exactly which part of sunlight strengthens him. If it were known, one could efficiently produce that part, like ultraviolet rays or thermal energy, to boost Superman's power level."
"However, Batman chose not to analyze. He wants it all, as long as he can capture photons like a black hole, he'll be able to utilize every part of a star's emitted light without wasting any."
"The only concern is whether Superman's body can withstand such enhancement. Will it really be okay?"
"No one understands Superman better than Batman," Steve said, "Besides, Batman has now entered Superman's body, presumably checked his condition and deemed he could bear it, hence the execution."
"Too bad you can't conduct photosynthesis," Stark sounded regretful, and said, "Otherwise, crafting black holes here would be much more convenient. Though it seems like he creates a black hole effortlessly, the solar mass was small. He couldn't squeeze a supermassive star, but your son can. He can compress an entire star system into the size of a marble using dark matter pressure. If you could consume it, even Superman might not be able to defeat you."
"I'll pass," Steve said, "Even though I've become the navigator for the interstellar fleet, I've always found the cosmos to be terrifying. Whenever we navigate through the darkness, there's a senseless anxiety within me. Perhaps I'm just not fit to be an interstellar citizen."
"Not knowing math, physics, and chemistry makes life seem magical," Stark scoffed, and said, "Because you're illiterate, you're scared. Once you understand Cosmic Construction Science, everything will just look like a bunch of data to you."
At this moment, events took a turn. As all photons within range were captured and darkness continually spread, gray fog started to permeate. Through the senses of greed borne from the gray mist, a glimpse of a white cape was caught in the dense darkness.
Lord Superman's suit is mostly black, with only the emblem on the chest and the cape on his shoulders being white. In the absolute darkness, his entire form seemed almost invisible, leaving only the cape standing quietly.
"I advise you to take it easy," Gray mist said, "What you're doing here can't be brought into reality, and would just earn a mark from the administrator. I know you just want to experiment, but if you mess up the game, it'll make everything done prior pointless."
"I doubt he can hear that," Greed said, "This is likely a very complex and intricate process, both of them should be fully focused on controlling their bodies."
"Then don't blame me for knocking," Gray mist said, "This isn't spiritual pollution, I'm only giving them a reminder."
As Greed said, Lord Superman and Lord Batman couldn't hear outside noises because they were both immersed in the singularity's time-space distortion causing infinite stillness. Yet even here, the super brain's thinking could still operate, albeit slowly.
"It's amazing," Lord Superman said, "I never imagined I could do these things. I've never seen any Kryptonian achieve this either. This certainly isn't part of advanced education."
"Have you heard of Cosmic Construction Science?"
"What's that?"
"A widely circulated science recently within Batman," Lord Batman paused and continued, "It's a method of editing the cosmos based on reality but transcending it, directly at the level of rules and programs."
"Does such a thing really exist?"
"No one knows," Lord Batman said, "We're all on this path but unsure if it truly leads to the creator. One has to walk it to find out."
Lord Superman looked at him. Those eyes, appearing more ancient and mature than other Supermen, spanned the seemingly near but actually far time-space to gaze at Lord Batman, carrying an uncommon calm and gentleness since he became a Lord.
"Has my body helped you take a step forward on this path?"
"I think it has," Lord Batman always so calm, said, "Human fear of the universe isn't merely from the unknown but also from the unchangeable. Human's fragile bodies never let us face the data we've discovered directly. No human could ever peek inside a black hole's scenery. But you're different, these things will never be the end for you."
"Are you saying we can continue this path until you become the creator?"
"Until we become the creators together."
