Although Ron was a bit worried, he didn't dare rush inside. If he interfered with the energy's operation, and it really exploded, it would be troublesome. So he said, "Be very careful."
Victor nodded and flew toward the interior of the Fire God Hall. Accompanied by the explosion of Mother Box energy, the entire Fire God Hall seemed to enter a state of time stagnation. The flames and heat disappeared, replaced by a whole expanse of golden space.
Victor walked all the way in. Finally, he saw the man lying on the ground. The man seemed to have fainted, but there was no sign of Diana around.
He recalled the scene in the Mother Box at the time and continued walking in the direction Diana had gone. Soon, he saw the corpse of an Amazonian Woman Warrior. Then another, two, three…
At least a dozen bodies were placed on the ground of the golden space. Moving forward, Victor saw Diana holding the Mother Box.
Her expression was sorrowful, even revealing a hint of despair. Victor stood in front of her and asked, "Diana, are you okay?"
Diana seemed not to have heard. Victor looked around, then said, "It's not Steve you want to revive, but your sisters who died in the war, right?"
Diana didn't answer, and Victor continued speaking to himself, "Revival is impossible."
"Your father did it," Diana suddenly looked up at him.
"He didn't do it."
Diana looked up at Victor, and Victor shook his head and said, "Now, I'm just a Mother Box with the consciousness of Victor Stone; the real Victor Stone is already dead."
Diana closed her eyes tightly.
She propped herself up with one hand and slowly stood up, then said, "Steve was a hero. Sacrifice was his own choice. I will respect him, and if I got into any trouble reviving him, he would have gone crazy, especially since he died for me back then. However, the war between Atlantis and the Amazons is meaningless. My sisters shouldn't die so ingloriously. I am the Princess of the Amazons, and I have a responsibility to them. If my sacrifice can bring them back to life, I must do it."
"No war is meaningful," Victor said, "From the perspective of the sacrificial, glory is the least important thing. They didn't die for this, but because since the war had already happened, someone had to stand up to defend their homeland, and their sacrifice was also their choice. Precisely because you are the princess and have a responsibility to them, you must not act on impulse. This will only harm you and the entire Amazon."
Diana seemed to have reached the peak of her grief, standing there like a wandering soul. Victor still wanted to persuade her, but suddenly, the cube in Diana's hand shone brightly, and the entire golden space began to tremble. At the same time, ripples began to appear throughout the space of Mount Olympus.
"Oh no," the Amazon Queen said, "We need to get out of here, or Zeus won't spare us."
"Zeus?!" Barry also seemed to be at his wits' end, saying, "He hid like a coward during our fight with Savage Wolf, and now he wants to show off in front of us? If he thinks the Justice League is easy to mess with, he should think about what happened to Savage Wolf!"
Hal and Ron hurriedly pulled him. But even so, the few of them had no intention of leaving, and what Barry said was also true. Even Savage Wolf was crushed by Batman, so how could they fear Zeus?
Now, both members of the Justice League were in the Fire God Temple, their fates unknown. If they were unharmed, it would be fine, but if something did happen, it would be Zeus who needed to think about how to explain it to Batman.
Heavenly Queen Hera was the first to arrive, and she wasn't pleased to see the Amazon Queen. But she was evidently more concerned about what had happened here. Before she could speak, a bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, and Zeus clearly noticed this place too.
"What the hell happened?" Hera asked.
"Mother Box," the Amazon Queen answered concisely, but Hera's expression changed instantly, "That thing, isn't it..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the entire Fire God Hall suddenly exploded. The golden light engulfed half of Mount Olympus, and even Zeus was startled enough to stand from his throne.
After the light faded, Victor and Diana were both lying on the ground. As Victor awakened from a brief coma, he looked incredulously at his chest. What just happened?
As the space began to shake, the cube in Diana's hand seemed to have eyes, flying straight at him and "boom," hitting him in the chest. Then the cube disappeared, and a fierce light burst from his body, subsequently destroying the entire Fire God Hall.
Victor swallowed hard: Could he have absorbed the Mother Box?
Though hard to believe, the facts seemed to confirm it. He had never felt so full of energy, and the cube that Diana had held had disappeared.
But what happened next was even more horrifying; the corpses of the Amazonian Woman Warriors on the ground began to move slowly.
They seemed a bit confused, looking around as they got up, not knowing where they were. Soon someone noticed the blasted-away Diana and shouted, "Princess His Highness! Princess His Highness!"
Victor immediately realized he was in big trouble. After all, this Mother Box was an Amazonian object. Now that he had fused with it, it was hard to explain, and revival was forbidden power that couldn't be known by outsiders.
For the Amazons, it might be okay. After all, they still lived on Earth and shared its fate, with some considerations. But if these gods found out…
Victor gritted his teeth, his mind racing. He had to send Diana and the warrior women back to the Amazon before the gods arrived. As long as they disappeared, the matter would be undiscoverable.
Just as this thought crossed his mind, a golden light suddenly flew out from his chest, forming a Teleportation Portal in mid-air. The opposite scene in the portal was the Amazon.
Victor was dumbfounded, but also felt like he had been granted a great reprieve. He hastily directed the warrior women to run into the portal, then tossed the unconscious Diana inside too, not forgetting Steve. Their matters were best left for them to resolve.
Having accomplished everything, he closed the portal. Finally, he restored everything before Zeus arrived.
Zeus and Hera hadn't yet spoken when Hal, his mind working quickly, saw that Diana and Steve were not there and realized the matter would remain undiscovered, so he immediately went on the offensive:
"You scumbags, trying to trap the Justice League in your setup! We almost got blown to pieces! If you don't give us an explanation, this isn't over between us!"
