Chapter 1553 - Chapter 1139: First Attempt at Gigantamaxing_3

The weaker Alliance currently might be Unova, partly because Champion Adeku's ace Volcarona passed away, leaving him with only a few ordinary Champion level combatants. Although he's a veteran with many powerful Pokémon by his side, the absence of his strongest card has led Adeku to a semi-retired state. Rumors suggest Caitlin might likely succeed him as Unova Champion; there are also rumors that Adeku is looking for a more suitable successor himself.

So, although Fang Yuan didn't bring all his main forces, the luxuriousness of his lineup could still make a bunch of Champions blush.

Fang Yuan had initially planned to bring Rotom as well, but after some thought, he decided to leave it behind to assist Eevee and the others with their special training.

Even without Rotom, it wouldn't matter. After all, in the age of the internet, it doesn't make much of a difference whether they are by his side or not. 3D Rotom and the others could come through the network cables in less than a second, still accessing information at the same speed.

"That Miss Caidou said to contact her when I reach Trace Town," he remembered.

Once in Trace Town, Fang Yuan took out his phone and called the number Caidou left for him.

After a moment, the call connected.

"Miss Caidou, this is Fang Yuan. I've arrived at Trace Town."

Caidou: "..."

"You've arrived? But it's been less than half an hour since we fixed the location..."

On the other end, Caidou's voice sounded bewildered. Hadn't Fang Yuan just said he was in Sinnoh? Was he playing a trick on her?

Right now, she was still out in the wild, undergoing special training, and it hadn't been long since she informed Miss Olive.

She had assumed that even if Fang Yuan was fast, he wouldn't arrive in Galar until tomorrow, yet... less than half an hour?

Fang Yuan: "I was in a rush, so I used a Pokémon to fly over quickly."

That was actually on the slower side. If it weren't for the fact that they were enjoying the view of Galar while Dragonite flew... they could've been even faster. Or, they could've just had Celebi teleport them right over.

Caidou was silent for a moment: "I'm sorry, we probably won't be able to battle today. I'm in the midst of wilderness training and my Pokémon aren't in the best condition. Plus, we haven't completed our training quota for today."

Fang Yuan: "I see, no problem. I'll just take a look around then. We can have the battle tomorrow instead."

He wasn't a devil, after all; he wouldn't insist on challenging a little girl who wasn't in good condition!

Speaking of which, weren't there wild Gigantamax Pokémon in Galar? Maybe he should try his luck. If he encountered one, he could study it beforehand.

......

Fang Yuan was actually someone who could withstand loneliness. He could easily stay at home for a year and a half holding his phone and computer without going outside. They say Pokémon follow their Trainer, and that made sense because even when Fang Yuan wasn't a Trainer he had a slight internet addiction, which Eevee found impressive.

However, once he became a Trainer, if something caught his curiosity, Fang Yuan couldn't help but act on it. Interest is the best teacher, after all.

Gigantamax.

This power was something Fang Yuan had never encountered before, neither on Earth before his transmigration nor after.

It was probably a new power system update in the game version after he transmigrated.

According to the information provided by Mewtwo, Fang Yuan also researched Gigantamax. This Gigantamax phenomenon had some similarities with Super Ancient Transformation; at the very least, both originated from beyond the Earth.

In Galarian legend, thousands of years ago, Eternatus descended upon the Earth and fell into a weakened state. It attempted to absorb energy from the Galar region in order to sustain its life, but was defeated by the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta in Galarian lore.

After being defeated, the already weakened Eternatus became further debilitated, and its energy leaked out, becoming the source of the Gigantamax phenomenon.

Fang Yuan really wanted to complain; this legend sounded an awful lot like the origin story of Z power from the Alola Region.

The only difference was that the Brilliant God from the heavens turned into Eternatus, the local Legendary Pokémon that repelled the weakened alien creature went from the Guardian God Kapu family to the heroes Zacian and Zamazenta, and Z power turned into Gigantamax...

"Mega Evolution is still better. At least it's the power that Pokémon dig up from their own life potential, not limited by the external environment."

In the wilderness outside of Trace Town, the desolate mountain range was barren of humans, and Fang Yuan came here alone. Actually, there were many wild Pokémon nearby, but none dared to approach him.

The top-tier aura emitted by Human-shaped spirits was quite fearsome.

"Hmm." Upon arriving in the wild, Fang Yuan started using his Aura to sense everything around him, attempting to detect the special energy points in the Galar region, which are necessary for Gigantamax.

Fang Yuan was just trying it out, but unexpectedly, his Aura, which had been enhanced by Kira Pray, actually pierced through the earth and he saw clusters of pink energy points amidst the darkness.

"Hey." After sensing them, Fang Yuan smirked and said, "Power of the Heart, activate!"

"Glutton, give it a try, see if you can absorb this kind of energy. If I remember correctly, Gengar should also be able to Gigantamax. I wonder how it compares to your Susanoo."

Even without a Gigantic Armlet, perhaps he could give it a try using his three Special Abilities.

Alas, if only he could bottle up these Gigantamax energy particles and take them with him. Then Glutton could use the Pay to Win Method without needing Energy Blocks and Dark Stones; he'd just use this instead...

Glutton: KojeΨ( ̄∀ ̄)Ψ New food, huh?!
