Chapter 1730 - Chapter 1186: Monferno Special Training Completed?_1

The Pokémon World Championship, the day Fang Yuan and Hirona finished their showdown, all the caretakers in the Pokémon world, old grandpas and grandmas alike, took out their best Pokémon food and sent it to the Eevees in their care.

"Eat up, eat up, eat well and have a bunch of little treasures," they encouraged. If they weren't mistaken, the demand for Eevees and Eevee Pokémon Eggs would soon exceed the supply.

An Eevee defeating a near Legendary Level Mega Garchomp? No... even repelling the Temporal and Spatial dragons?

How could they call themselves Trainers if they didn't catch a few for breeding, given circumstances like these?

All the Eevees in the world: ٩(//̀Д/́/)۶ trembling, feeling immense pressure.

Of course, rational people knew what "someone else's Eevee" meant, but that didn't stop Trainers from getting a whim to breed an Eevee after watching the match.

If they couldn't afford or take care of a Quasi-god, was an Eevee out of their reach? And even if they raised it poorly, it was cute, and that was enough... if they were after power, they could always give it an Evolutionary Stone; it wouldn't be too bad.

In the Pokémon World, Evolutionary Stones weren't as expensive as on Earth, they were treasured but generally affordable for the average Trainer.

So in summary, Eevees might soon become as ubiquitous and common as Pikachus are in Rocket Team's rhetoric...

This phenomenon is commonly referred to as the "Big Eevee Era"...

...

Noon.

Roz Building.

Inside the President's office.

President Loz was playing a mobile game with a gloomy expression, while his secretary, Miss Olive, sighed beside him.

A month ago, President Loz was often seen smiling, but these past few days, his mood had soured...

Initially, Fang Yuan defeated Qibana once, causing Qibana to miss out on a spot among the Eight Masters... This threw off the plans for the Galar Region to have two new Eight Masters. Now, given the strength Eevee displayed under Fang Yuan, Danti seemed likely to be outmatched as well.

Easily defeating Hirona's Mega Garchomp implied Eevee hadn't even used its full strength back then; coupled with repelling the Temporal and Spatial dragons, one didn't need to think hard to realize Charizard had a slim chance against this monstrous Eevee.

However, if Danti really lost, Loz could accept it, because it would mean being truly outclassed in strength.

Yet Loz still sighed... Ah, where did this Fang Yuan come from? There shouldn't have been such a character in the Pokémon World!!

"Actually..."

After clearing the mobile game, Loz slowly lifted his head and said, "Actually, it's a good thing that this championship has brought out so many strong Trainers."

"Especially Fang Yuan..."

"President Loz, do you think he has the power to subdue and control Infinity Tana?" asked Olive.

Loz nodded, saying, "If it's him, maybe he can, but he might not understand me. Even Danti and the others might not get it..."

Loz looked out the window.

He had come from abject poverty, his family was poor, and his father, a miner, worked tirelessly day and night to provide for them and to unearth ancient energy sources. His sudden death in an accident had a profound impact on the young Loz.

Later, Loz became the Alliance runner-up and capitalized on that success to exploit Galar's rich untapped resources. As CEO of the Marlocom Group, he monopolized the energy supply for all Galar's enterprises and became the Union President, introducing Gigantamax battles and fueling Galar's economy, thus improving countless lives.

The belief that drove him was not wanting Galar to continue being impoverished, to prevent other families from suffering as his did.

Still unsatisfied, Loz predicted Galar's resources would be depleted in 1000 years and was uncertain about its future, uncertain if others would love Galar and want it to flourish as he did.

So, he began preparing early, fostering Champion Danti and the many powerful Gym Leaders that now tackled Galar.

Loz was nurturing them not just to strengthen the Galar League and develop Gigantamax battles, but he had a deeper purpose.

He wanted to awaken and revive Infinity Tana. Thousands of years ago, Infinity Tana had brought a huge source of Gigantamax energy to the impoverished Galar Region, creating the Galar of today. Now, he planned to revive those bygone nights, then let the powerful Trainers he cultivated subdue and control it. In the end, Infinity Tana would become the energy core of Galar, ensuring its eternal prosperity.

However, so far, Danti and the others had not developed to Loz's satisfaction, so he had not enacted his plan to awaken Infinity Tana. In the meantime, he continued to court and sought to cultivate more Trainers. When he initially invited Fang Yuan, he intended for him to help with his plan.

Even though Fang Yuan refused at the time, now Loz still wanted him.

Both Eevee... and Mewtwo... were very powerful.

If Fang Yuan could help him, the chance of his plan's success would undoubtedly be higher. This was the first time he had seen a Trainer stronger than the current Danti! With Fang Yuan, there might be a chance to subdue Infinity Tana!

"Will he accept?" Olive asked.
