"Dance with me beauty" came the pleasant voice of the stranger.I love how he acknowledged me as a beauty even with my mask on and my face hidden.He asked me another question when I didn't answer him or give him the permission to dance with him.
"What's your name beauty? Or you like me calling you beauty?".
I blushed and answered "E-u-phorial". I guess I stutter a little because now I can see his handsome face after walking a little bit into the light,where the crowd is gathered.
"May i have this dance Euphorial?" he asked me again when we came near the dance floor and I answered softly, "Yes".
He drew me to the dance floor,held my right hand,he puts my other hand on his firm shoulder then he puts his hand on my lower back and I turned stiff.
"Relax,I am not going to bite you now even though I want to".
I know what he said meant because I have secretly read about vampires,their bites and secrets.That is how I got to know about my dad being a half vampire because he drinks blood.
"Focus on me" he whispered into my ears which immediately turned red.I focused on him as he said and I noticed his features had changed to that of a human.Bloody red eyes has become cold blue ones,his fangs had retracted back and the black smoke around him is gone.As I stare into those blue orbs,I feel like I was being cut and eaten and I blush again.Then I asked him with courage,
"What is your name?" He paused a bit as if he didn't expect my question.He twirled me around and my back landed on his firm chest,then he said sensually into my ear, "Ephraim Lived".
The misic stopped and he left me to return back to his sit at the special comparment of the king,he said something to the king and the party ended after the King's address.
Father and I waited outside the gate for the carriage to come and my thought went back to his last words to me,his name "Ephraim Lived". His father's name sounded like 'devil' been spelt backwards but i brushed off the idea.The carriage arrived and I entered our house,followed by my father.
During the entire journey home,I know that my dad is dying of curiosity because of the way he was looking at me.I am sure it will be the first thing we will be talking about at home,the vampire I danced with.A VAMPIRE!

I just met a full vampire for the first time in my life,they are real after all.The thoughts of the dangerous things I did and felt for him in the dark hall with paintings came flooding back.I was just hugged by a vampire,I danced with him and I even felt save and comforted in his embrace.Euphorial,you must be going crazy!!.
When the carriage stopped,I flew straight to my room.I stopped at the mirror to look at myself and I see a different me.The mirror is reflecting a girl with disheveled hair,flushed face,pink ears and beaming face.I looked different.
I pulled off my dress and under garments and went to the bathroom.I sat inside the bathtub and his words echoed in my head "Relax,i won't bite you even though I want to".
The books I read said a vampire bites to kill,mark or feed.I don't think he wants to kill me or feed on me,maybe he wants to mark me.But as a vampire can only mark his mate,maybe i'm his.Oh God Euphorial stop thinking rubbish,but it will be nice to be his mate humans did not accept her anyways.
