'Of course. I should have known staying in one place for too long would have attracted Acnologia's attention. I really should have left for Alakitasia days ago..' Irene grit her teeth and prepared for a fight as the Black Dragon flew down toward the cave entrance.
Just as she were about to begin the fight, she noticed something odd.
"Why are Acnologia's eyes.. red? And angular? The wings and tail are different too.. An actual Dragon? One that hasn't been murdered yet?" Irene muttered incredulously as the Dragon prepared to land, yet as it did, its body flashed with a purple light.
Standing where the Dragon landed was a young, beautiful woman with long, unruly black hair, angular, sharp red eyes and a body that resembled her own, aside from the muscle definition and height. She walked right past the wide eyed Irene and gave the cave a careful look.
"Wow. You're living like a bum huh?" Yin shook her head in disappointment, further confusing the centuries-old Queen.
Irene opened her mouth, irritation and bewilderment clashing in her head as she tried to understand what was in front of her. But Yin kept judging her lack of furniture.
"I mean really.. even Zeref had a few chairs and couches in his shack. What is this? No chairs, no couches, all I see are rocks, crates and tons of books. Or wait.. do you just summon all the crap you need?" Yin turned around to ask, seeing the sharp decline of Irene's mental health in real time.
"...I.. what? Who-No, what are you?" Irene demanded, supporting herself on the cave wall as her legs shook.
"I'm Yin. A Dragon. A Human. Nice to meet you, Queen of Bums." Yin introduced casually, seeing Irene's brows furrow in irritation.
Irene took a deep breath and ignored the 'bum' comment. She focused on the two words that shouldn't and couldn't go together. 'Dragon' and 'Human'. She couldn't believe it.
"No.. I don't believe you. That had to be.. transformation magic.. Takeover magic.. Illusions.." Irene denied, though both her and Yin knew they were flimsy accusations.
After all, even now Irene felt the aura Yin was radiating. Even looking fully human, to Dragons that have lived as long as she had, there was no mistaking Yin. She gave her the same pressure Acnologia did. Even sitting on a crate and reading one of her books with one leg folded over the other, Yin felt threatening.
"Hey! What are you doing reading my books so casually?" Irene huffed and tried to take the book Yin was holding.
Yin held one finger up and pressed it over Irene's full lips.
"Just curious. You're a master Enchantress, supposedly. So I'm curious about you've developed your magic. It's pretty strong." Yin admitted, letting her finger slowly trace Irene's lower lip.
"Tch!" Irene moved away and scowled.
Yin sighed and set the book down before facing her, "It certainly feels almost a hundred percent human. But there's enough of a difference, just to drive you nuts. Surely, you can get a humanoid body while remaining a Dragon. It's just... well, how do I say this without sounding arrogant..?"
"I am a Dragon.. but of a different quality than you. Not to call you a false Dragon or anything but this whole Dragon seed thing seems poorly optimized. Almost like the transformation was made to be cruel intentionally." Yin said after a moment of thinking her words over.
Irene slowly sat on a crate with a heavy sag to her shoulders.
"So you can turn back.. no problem huh? Are you here to rub it in my face?" She asked, her eyes narrowed into angry slits as she stared enviously at Yin.
"I'm not that much of an asshole." Yin waved her off, remaining casual despite the hostility.
"I'd only have done that if you tried and failed to enchant yourself onto your baby girl. But if I'm remembering correctly.. you just left her at a church, right?" Yin's question made Irene stiffen.
'How and why does she know so much about me? I've never met her... No, wait.. she mentioned Zeref. Maybe.. he sent her?" A flicker of hope flashed through her eyes as she carefully looked at Yin.
Both Dragons assessed the other for a long moment. Then, Yin spoke again.
"So what're you doing here exactly?" Yin asked.
If she had truly gone to the year X777, Irene would be in Alakitasia by now. So now she had to figure out when she appeared. Coming out before the kids arrived wasn't too bad for her, it could even give her some time to prevent a few tragedies. But finding out when she came out was crucial.
From what Yin could remember, Irene halted her pregnancy for hundreds of years while she tried to find a way to revert to human form. She wanted to birth Erza as a human. It wasn't until Zeref came along and gave her a human appearance did she finally give birth. But the sensations were wrong and so, fearing she would enchant herself onto Erza, she left her baby in that village and took off, later becoming a top figure in Alakitasia.
Going by the lack of a baby bump, her previous reaction to what Yin said about her baby and her current human form, Yin figured she was about to join Zeref.
"I came here.. to think." Irene admitted, feeling no real reason to lie.
"To think?" Yin asked.
Irene nodded, "If I could raise my baby properly or not. I was.. tempted to enchant myself onto her... It disgusts me to think about. Don't you agree?"
Seeing the small, self depreciating and despairing smile directed at her, Yin felt a tightness in her chest. She shook her head and let out a sigh.
"You lived all this time trying to return to your natural form while carrying your baby. Hundreds of years wears on your mind, Irene. Despite that, you did what you thought was best for your baby. That deserves my respect. And it's why I'm offering you this."
Yin pulled out the vial of her blood, lightly rotating her wrist to make the powerful blood slosh around the glass. Irene instantly felt a pull. An instinct to consume it. It was magically potent, that much she could tell. But there was something almost mythical about it. A lump formed in her throat as she gently took the glass vial and carefully probed it with her magic.
"What will this do?" She asked, her own magic indicating that ingesting the blood would change her physiology permanently.
"On you? You'd be sort of like me. Access to the Dragon body but with a real human body too. No out of place sensations. You'd be Human and Dragon." Yin stated.
Irene stared at the vial. She knew ingesting it would transform her but after so long, it was hard to trust others. The only thing that made Yin trustworthy in her eyes was the fact that she was a Dragon too. And at this point, she was desperate enough to try.
*Gulp*
Irene chugged the red liquid and felt the warmth spread down tongue, throat and settle in her chest. For a few seconds, it was peaceful. And then..
"Graaaaagh!!" Irene held her head and let out a roar as her human form cracked and crumbled away, giving way to her true Dragon body.
For a moment, she wanted to curse at Yin. To scream. But the pain of the transformation was increasing. Blood poured out of her cracking scales, covering her body as her musculature, skeleton and organs transformed.
Irene's body spasmed as her horns cracked and regrew. The color of her scales taking on a crimson hue and her body began to shrink. But through the pain, she felt hands holding onto and stroking her head, letting her focus on anything but the agony wracking her body.
"It.. hurts...." Irene hissed, overcome with a strange, shrinking sensation.
"It's almost over now. Just focus on me." Yin replied, watching Irene's body shrink in on itself until it reached humanoid height.
Yin was observing every reaction. The violent transforming was due to the magical battle taking place within Irene's body. Her blood was overwriting exactly what it means to be a Dragon in Fairy Tail without sacrificing any of the benefits.
"Aaah... haaaah...." Yin watched as Irene's pale flesh, curvaceous form and very long crimson hair took form. Her red scales, wings and horns receding into her body as if they were never there.
Irene opened her eyes as soon as she felt the pain go away. Her brown eyes focused on Yin's face. At some point during the transformation, she had fallen and Yin let her lay her head on her lap.
"I...I feel... right. I feel right.. All that wrongness just.." Irene felt her eyes well up with tears as she looked at her trembling hands.
She quickly stood up and began to check herself, overflowing with happiness.
Though, while Irene was rejoicing at being human again, Yin was noticing her lack of clothing. Not that Irene wore a lot of clothing to begin with, it was just that everything was on display. Every movement caused a pronounced jiggle affect.
'As expected of a 'Mommy', she has innie-nipples. I guess Hiro Mashima really likes his women thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. Respect' Yin nodded sagely to herself, still casually checking out Irene.
"I don't know how I can thank you.." Irene said, snapping Yin out of it.
"We can f.... igure that out later. I did this out of respect. You deserve it. If you truly feel so indebted then just accompany me on my adventures for a little." Yin replied, eyes snapping from her rosy pink nipples to her dark brown eyes.
Irene covered her chest up with a slight blush covering her cheeks as she answered, "Well.. originally, I was going to Alakitasia but after what you've done for me? I can't put into words how happy I am or how much you've truly helped me."
Yin shrugged and gave her a pat on the shoulder before taking a seat on one of Irene's crates again.
'I hadn't really expected to meet her but having a sexy companion with me until the kids arrive isn't a huge deal. That aside, I should really figure out exactly what year it is. It should be just after Erza's born, right? I just need to ask-'
"If I may ask. How did you know about my pregnancy? Did Zeref tell you? Did he send you here?" Irene asked.
Yin shook her head.
"I just arrived here but technically I talked to Zeref like.. several minutes ago." Yin replied before mentally adding, 'Several minutes ago for me, several centuries for you~'.
Irene nodded, thinking the admission basically confirmed Zeref told Yin about her. Though she had no idea how he knew about her actions regarding Erza, Zeref was one of the strongest mages ever so she didn't really think about it too deeply. In the end, it was Yin who saved her, that's what mattered.
"Now, how long ago did you drop your baby off? If we hurry, we can go grab her and you can have what you've always wanted." Yin asked, thinking to reunite the estranged Mother and Daughter.
After all, a whole lot could be avoided if Erza wasn't in that village.
"It's... been a few years. I was going to go to Alakitasia either today or tomorrow and.." Irene muttered and scratched the back of her head awkwardly.
"Okay.. Well a few years isn't that bad. It's not like she's-" "Ten. I think she's ten years old by now." Irene interrupted, seeing Yin slowly rub her face in exasperation.
'I forgot.. this MILF has lived centuries. A few decades is probably just a few years to her.'
"Yeah.. let's go get your kid. Hopefully she hasn't ended up in a Magic Chinese Child labour Sweatshop with the world's most ironic name." Yin got up and looked at Irene expectantly.
Being a rather smart woman, she caught on fast and quickly moved all her books and supplies into a magic storage. Then, Yin tossed her an outfit.
"Here, put this on. I don't wanna have you catch a cold or distract me while we travel." Yin stated, giving her the Arlecchino outfit she put in storage a while ago.
"What a strange and.. oddly comfortable ensemble." Irene muttered as she slipped it on, doing a little twirl afterwards.
Yin noticed the shape of her ass wasn't hidden one bit by the pants but aside from getting a mascot outfit for her, nothing else would hide that outrageous body of hers. Though if she were being honest, she just wanted to see Irene wear the outfit.
"Alright come on, Drago-Mommy. We have a child to abdu-rescue.."
