Appearing once more in that place, she surveyed the area and saw nothing had changed. At least visually, it hadn't. Taking a seat on the couch, she saw the doors of Creation and Ruin opened slightly wider and sighed.
"Of course sex somehow sped up the process.." Equinox shook her head and stared at the doors, contemplating something.
"Is this how Gogeta felt? To be neither but both?" She muttered, then stood up and walked toward a wall where a mirror was materializing in front of her.
She looked slightly different now. More complete. Her hair was extremely long now, going to her thighs, still a blend of black and golden, framed by white and black horns lined with pulsating deep violet and golden energies. Her heterochromatic eyes stared back in the mirror at her mature face that reminded her of who she was made from.
"Mm... I'm getting some of their traits, I think.. I wanna fight. I wanna let loose..." The fusion admitted, looking down at her muscular arms and clenching her fists.
"Hey... if anyone can hear me? Anyone at all... Would it be too much to ask for a good fight? If I can't have freedom.. then at least that?" Equinox asked, looking up into the darkness that made up the inner world.

"Sis!" Wendy ran into Yin as soon as she woke up and caught her unique scent.
Then, the rest of the Dragonslayers awoke soon after, just to witness the comical sight of Natsu and Wendy hanging off Yin like she were a tree.
"Oh no.. they're all so cute...." Yang whispered as she stood next to Irene.
"I must admit you're right.. look at that girl. She's adorable.." Irene admitted, watching Wendy patiently wait in front of Yin with a shy smile.
Both had taken a step back as to not overwhelm the kids. Due to some possible memory alteration, they were in a delicate state. Seeing Yin again had definitely helped though. But now they were all lined up in front of Yin, awed by the fact that she looked human.
"If you can turn into a human.. can I turn into a Dragon, big sis!?" Gajeel, in sync with Natsu, asked excitedly.
Though it was clear Sting and Rogue wanted an answer too. Yin snorted and rubbed the top of their heads.
"In the future, maybe. How are you all feeling?"
Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting and Rogue looked at each other and gave her a shrug.
"Rogue and I are okay. Hey! Did you know? We beat Weisslogia and Skiadrum!" Sting declared with a triumphant smile.
'Ah I see those dumbasses went ahead with that narrative..' Yin sighed, overhearing Natsu's disbelief.
"YOU? You beat your Dragons? No way." Gajeel nodded along, throwing a look at the other boys that displayed his disbelief.
"Wh-Hey! We totally did! Tell 'em, Rogue!"
"It's true. It was a huge fight.. then we woke up here with Big Sis." Rogue backed Sting up, while Natsu and Gajeel kept denying it.
Poor Wendy was trying to speak up to keep the peace but the shouting from the boys drowned her words out.
*Clap*
Yin clapped her hands, grabbing their attention before the argument carried on any further.
"Okay, let me explain some things to you guys, okay? First, Sting and Rogue? You didn't kill Weisslogia or Skiadrum. And no, Natsu.. they're not lying either. Their dumbass Dragons thought that they wouldn't miss them or go through heartache if they made them think they killed 'evil Dragons'. And now that I've explained it, the spell holding your memories has failed, right?" Yin asked, sending a pointed gaze at the Light and Dark Dragonslayers.
"Y-Yeah... why would.." Sting croaked out in disbelief, his lower lip trembling as his true memories overlapped the false ones.
And Rogue wasn't much better. Quieter, but he still looked confused and hurt. Yin put her hands on both of their heads and gave them an aplogetic smile.
"They wanted to spare you the pain. Now, I'm betting you all wanna know where your parents are?" Yin turned to the rest of the kids and asked, getting confused head tilts in return.
"Eh? I thought Igneel dumped us on you again, Sis?" Natsu replied, getting nods of agreement from both Wendy and Gajeel.
"HAHAHAHA!" Yin heard Yang's boisterous laughter in the background and chose to ignore it while the corner of her lips twitched.
"Well.. kinda. You won't be seeing them for a while." That got their attention and worry, especially Wendy's.
"Grandeeny..? Where did she go?" Wendy asked with a small frown.
"Don't worry, okay? All of the Dragons are fine. They're closer than you think but you won't be able to see them for a while. They entrusted you to me." Yin explained.
"Which means I have to take care of you, teach you, let you grow stronger, let you have bonds. That, is what they want from you. Natsu, you wanna grow big and strong enough to really impress Igneel right?" Yin turned to the salmon-haired boy, who clenched his hand and nodded with a small grin.
"Wendy, you wanna impress Grandeeny with all your support magic, strength and how many friends you'll have, right?" Yin asked in a softer tone, seeing Wendy wipe her face, stiffen her upper lip and nod at her.
"Gajeel... you wanna hit Metalanica upside the head for not even saying goodbye, right?" Yin turned to him with a knowing smirk.
Of course, Gajeel smiled right back at her and nodded enthusiastically.
Then, she turned to Sting and Rogue.
"We want to prove them wrong.. To be strong enough to really beat them when we see them again too." Rogue, the usually quiet one, declared.
"Yeah. I gotta puch Weisslogia in the nose for making us forget all the good stuff!" Sting agreed, punching his palm.
Yin nodded. It was fair, given what those two did. Never realizing that putting fake memories over the real ones, where they spent time with their parents, would have created a potential personality shift. She smirked to herself, mentally noting to knock those two flat on their asses when they came out too.
"Uh.. Sis? Whossat? She looks like a Blonde Sis." Natsu called out, pointing at Yang, who was walking over with Irene.
"This, is Yang. My twin sister. So from now on? She's your Sis too. And the red haired lady is another Dragon friend, Irene."
Wendy was the first to come greet them, as Natsu sniffed the air and Gajeel tried to size Yang up. Sting and Rogue were whispering to each other while watching Yang and Irene.
"H-Hello! I'm Wendy. Nice to meet you.. Blonde Big Sis? And Miss Irene." Wendy greeted, face flushed with nervousness.
Irene clutched her chest and looked away while Yang smiled and pat her head.
"Nice to meetcha too, Wendy!"
"Woah.. you do smell almost exactly like Sis. Hey, I'm Natsu Dragneel! How strong are you two!? Can we fight!?" Natsu greeted, then immediately went to challenge her.
"Idiiiiot.. she's Big Sis' twin and the other looks super strong too.. they're way stronger than you, Flame-brain. I'm Gajeel, by the way."
"Say that again, metal-head!" Natsu immediately retorted, begininng a fist fight with Gajeel while Sting and Rogue came up to them.
"Nice to meet you. You uh.. feel like....Weisslogia, a bit?" Sting muttered, unsure.
Yang looked at Yin, who shrugged.
"Light Dragon. Just like Skiadrum and I probably feel similar."
"Hehe! Nice! Maybe we can both learn more Light Dragon magic later eh?"
Yin sighed in relief. She was never great with kids so dealing with emotionally volatile Dragonslayer children seemed like too much. Despite that, she knew exactly what these kids liked and disliked. Lying to them would have damaged their relationship later but telling them that their Parents were inside them would have made things worse. Natsu probably wouldn't shut up about it and would try to see Igneel again despite the Dragon working to create antibodies for him.
This was the best way to deal with them. This way, they'll focus on growing stronger and living in the Guild so that when they meet with their Dragons again, they'll be able to proudly boast about everything they'd done.
"Yeah.. this can work." Yin muttered as she watched Yang flick Natsu into a tree while Irene let Wendy sit on her lap and talk to her about Grandeeny.

.
"How many kids are you planning to bring to the Guild..?" Makarov asked with a deep sigh, already witnessing the chaos of Natsu fighting with Gray, Erza and Mirajane fighting over whose 'team' Wendy was on, Gajeel immediately fascinated by Vajeeter's instruments and lastly, Sting and Rogue trying to learn about Takeover magic after Elfman flexed his beast arms.
Yin took a long sip of her ordered ale, ignoring Yang's snickering beside her. Then, she looked at her Guild Master and unapologetically pat his shoulder.
"Last ones for now, swearsies."
Makarov felt a vein in his head throbbing but fought the irritation and looked sympathetically at the kids.
"As much as I sympathize with them, I can't promise they'll be too comfortable in the acvomodations I have available.."
Both Yin and Yang raised thier brows as they looked at Makarov.
"You.. think we're gonna dump them on you? We have enough money to get a big house. We'll be living there with the kids. Pretty close to the Guild too." Yin explained, watching Makarov pause as he brought his mug to his lips.
"Ya really were just gonna let 'em stay on your dime though eh? You're amazing, Master." Yang added, patting the small older man's back.
"Ahem! Well you should have just told me you'd care for them. I thought this was like the Rob situation.." Makarov sighed.
"We're not that cruel! The first time was sorta dire and all." Yang laughed.
"Good. Well, it's about time I start the announcement." Makarov then stood up on the bar and cleared his throat.
Unfortunately, most Guild Members didn't hear him and kept chatting/arguing.
"Quieeeeet!!" Makarov briefly grew his head out and shouted, immediately silencing the Guild, even Natsu and Gray, who looked on in comical disbelief.
"Good. Now, it's around that time of the year to decide who becomes an official S rank mage. The title holds prestige, yes but also responsibility and it paints a target on your back. I've come up with a list of candidates and.. well, this year is special." Makarov looked over at Yin, Yang, Irene and Ur. The latter of which was picking up Gray's clothes with a dramatic sigh.
"This year, we have seven candidates. They are as follows: Wakaba, Macao, Laxus, Ur, Irene, Yang and Yin. All of you have proven yourselves capable mages and are nominated for the exam. Any objections?" Makarov looked around, seeing Laxus get up with a challenging grin.
"Yeah. How many are allowed to pass this exam, old man?"
Makarov rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"Don't get overly competitive, Laxus. I said it was a special year. Anyone can pass this year's exam if they fulfill the requirements. We'll be holding on Tenrou Island again within a week. Any S rank candidate is allowed to select any mage that isn't a candidate as their partner. You should probably use this time to train together and avoid going on long missions. That's all. Now excuse me..." Makarov then sat right back down and started drinking his ale again.
"Hmph.. we'll see about that. I don't plan on letting weaklings pass the exam. You better be r-.." Laxus turned to face Yin and Yang, only to see he was being ignored.
No, not only ignored, he was being looked down on. The sisters were smirking at each other and radiating a strange sort of battle-lust.
"Looks like we're gonna compete against each other~" Yang spoke up first, grinning as she sized Yin up.
"Sure does. You want me to handicap myself to your level, dear Sister?" Yin shot a grin right back, looking into Yang's lilac serpentine eyes.
"Hah! No. I wanna sse how strong you REALLY are. Man~ I hope it's a free-for-all brawl!" Yang licked her lips, fingers curling inward from the excitement.
Makarov calmly sipped from his mug, starting to regret the decision he came to. He was pressured by Gildarts so if any significant damage comes to Tenrou, he decided to throw him at the angry First Master if worse comes to worst.
Though he feel bad about fastrackingLaxus' placement on the exam. He knew whatever he saw and experienced in one week was probably going to really hurt his ego, but he'd rather Guildmates curb his arrogance than someone strong and malicious.
"I just hope the Island survives..." Makarov muttered into his drink.
