Kisha gave it a sweet, almost mocking smile before drawing her intermediate combat-type Fire Magic Scroll. Seeing the familiar scroll, the mutated zombie's eyes widened.
She had hoped she wouldn't need it, but with the zombie wave almost upon them, time was running out. Thanks to Duke's spear, the mutated zombie couldn't remove it from its body, leaving it stuck and vulnerable.
Kisha rose higher and higher into the air, putting as much distance as possible between herself, Duke, and the mutated zombie below. The horde surged toward their leader, forming a protective wall around it while stretching their arms skyward, desperate to drag the two of them down.
But the mutated zombie itself could only glare helplessly; Duke's spear remained firmly lodged in its body, keeping it pinned.
