"An underground tunnel system."
The words broke the short bout of silence that settled down, and they startled Lucas.
"Hm?"
He turned his confused eyes back to the source of the voice, and looked at Estrella with intrigue in his eyes. The latter didn't raise her eyes from her unknown projected book. Fortunately, she elaborated:
"The Path, oppressive but hollow, like it exists beneath something. It feels like a cave in the subterranean world, and with many of them…"
The rest was left unsaid, but Lucas caught on. They were like tunnels underground. The analogy was not bad. If anything, it was quite fitting.
And being lumped as a whole system might not be wrong either. Only, was there a connection between all of them or were they all standalone?
There was not enough information in his hands to make that judgement, so he shook those thoughts away for the moment, and shifted his attention to something else:
"Have you always felt that or only now?"
