The vortex that had been frozen crushed the chest of the Devourer, sank into it after making it cave in, then like a bird spreading its wings, expanded. From the size of a plate, the frozen vortex expanded to be big enough to swallow a whole building, and that was under the restriction of the loss of molecular charge that left it in almost solid state as wisps of chill wafted off it.
Nevertheless, while the size after the expansion was constrained, the weight of the vortex now frozen in a struggle between a liquid and a solid state only grew further. And as it spun while struggling to relax like someone after hours of heavy, debilitating sleep paralysis, it both tore and pulled at the only thing it was in contact with.
