Chapter 316 - Everything is just right

Two sides of the eatery's white walls were trailed by long, colored, counter-like tables that were filled to the brim.

"It must be worth the four-star rating." Arlen muttered, "Should we wait in the queue? The takeout section only sells pastries."

Ravi looked at the twenty-plus people who were still waiting for their turn and shook his head. He held Arlen's hand and pulled him towards the take-out section,

"We would be late if we queued up. Let us just buy some of the pastries to go."

The take-out section had three people attending to them, and they were very fast and experienced. Within ten minutes, Arlen was holding a glutinous rice cake with a red peony brine that looked exceedingly pleasing. The bright red stuffing against the soft, snow white dough almost looked too good to eat.

"We have to bring some of these home for Ash to taste. Sage and Lana would also like some?" Arlen said as he took a slice of cake/
