Bokuto's POV
We went to Baquiran-san's bar, which was a semi-fancy one with dark aesthetics. It was not that busy, with a few customers present to have drinks with there. Some of his men, who were also had whitened brown skin and wearing formal clothes, saw our presence and their boss's presence.
"Ah, boss, hey there!" one of them said.
He had a high-five with Baquiran-san, who then replied, "How's your morning, Joaquin...?"
"Ah, okay lang!"
Baquiran-san then looked at us. "We had visitors here, so please hospitable to them."
They looked at us and were hospitable to us.
"Welcome to our bar."
"Greetings!"
"Hi po!" Hoshi said to them nicely with a quick bow.
"Oh! You can speak in Tagalog, too?" one of Baquiran-sans men asked back.
"Yes, I am a Japanese Filipino, po. I'm Hoshi Carmen Takada-Santos of Nara City, Japan. Nice to meet you, po."
"Ah, okay, nice to meet you po, Ako po si Joaquin Macapagal."
After that, all of us, in the back kitchen of the bar, started talking and discussing about the suspicious meat at Karne Kalye's. Baquiran-san's men couldn't believe that, and some of them mentioned that they did ate there recently and got disgusted by their meat in their food. Joaquin and another in his circle suggested about the owners of the said eatery being cannibals and serial killers. Baquiran-san nodded and said, "We'll report this sa pulisya."
Mariya-san and Hoshi-kun are the only ones who can speak in Baquiran-san's language, alongside Reo and Paula.
Baquiran-san's men agreed while wondering what outcome it will bring to them.
We all agreed to that as a first step.
Later, all of us went to the police station and did what we had decided to do. In response, some of the police officers there said that they will send some of their officers to that eatery shortly after. And then, others mentioned that there were people who went missing after going to the perimeter of Karne Kalye, suspecting that the owners of it had something to do with it, but they didn't have any evidence yet. We were shocked, and according to them, over 50 people, including young college students, went missing for over 5 years now. Now we were more shocked than before. So that means that the owners of Karne Kalye are some sort of syndicates, too?
