Chapter 667 - Chapter 666: Total Annihilation and Confusion

"Not bad, the plan went smoothly," Robert mused, watching the battle unfold below him. He was particularly pleased that there were no innocent casualties, which would satisfy Steve. "But these Gamma warriors aren't very strong. That one that just died wasn't even as powerful as Abomination. They're too weak."

His attention shifted to the yellow and blue giants. "These two... they remind me of some of the failed clones from the Hulk project. Is it just that the path of Gamma mutation is similar, or did Banner leave some crucial genetic data here?"

Robert had destroyed many failed Gamma mutants while cloning the Hulk, and these two Gamma warriors bore a resemblance to some of those failures. However, their auras were not particularly strong.

"You two, stop the Hulk! The rest of you, transfer your energy!" The blue giant shouted, and a group of Gamma warriors immediately charged at the Hulk.

The yellow giant hesitated before following, as if trying to buy time for the blue giant. This piqued Robert's curiosity.

"Don't go all out. Kill the smaller ones outright, but take your time with that one that resembles Abomination," Robert telepathically instructed the Hulk, his interest piqued.

The Hulk, though dissatisfied, held back his full strength. His simple mind knew that disobeying Robert was not an option unless he could one day defeat Robert himself.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Despite holding back, the Hulk still tore through the Gamma warriors like they were nothing, sending them flying with each punch. Their attacks were mere tickles to the Hulk, failing to even make him flinch.

However, the yellow giant managed to somewhat slow the Hulk down, though he too was eventually pushed back. Still, he hadn't been instantly incapacitated like the others, which gave him a brief sense of relief. The punch he had taken wasn't as deadly as he'd feared, giving him a glimmer of hope.

Meanwhile, in another part of the base, a group of deformed, mutated Gamma warriors gathered around the blue giant, placing their hands on him. Something within them was being transferred to the blue giant, whose aura grew stronger by the second, while the others weakened visibly, some nearing death.

"Keep going! Hurry up, or we're all dead!" The blue giant barked, his eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and impatience. "If you help me grow stronger and we defeat the Hulk, your families will receive a huge compensation. But if we all die here, forget about any rewards..."

Motivated by his words, the warriors glanced at the battlefield. Despite the yellow giant barely holding off the Hulk, the others were being crushed with ease. Knowing their fate as cannon fodder, these warriors pressed on, pushing their dwindling strength into the blue giant. As they collapsed in droves, the blue giant's power surged, and his excitement grew.

"What a bizarre ability... absorbing others' energy? But why does it require willing sacrifices? And why is it so slow?" Robert mused, his interest now fully on the blue giant. The ability was intriguing but seemed impractical. It could create a powerful being, but if not for Robert restraining the Hulk, the yellow and blue giants would have already been dead, with no chance to showcase this power.

In terms of strength, the blue and yellow giants weren't weak; they were on par with Abomination. A few years ago, they could have given a weakened Hulk a run for his money. But the Hulk they faced now was far stronger, fueled by his ever-growing rage.

"Hahaha! You think you can suppress me, Hulk? I should thank you! Without you, I wouldn't have gained this power!" The blue giant laughed maniacally as the yellow giant struggled to hold on. It was clear that the blue giant had long harbored ambitions, but until now, had lacked the opportunity to realize them. He had hoped that General Ross would increase the Gamma warrior program so that he could absorb the power of all Gamma warriors, including the successful ones like the yellow and green giants.

Now, with the help of Robert and the Hulk, his ambition was halfway fulfilled. As his power grew, so did his greed, even fantasizing about absorbing the Hulk's strength to further increase his own.

"Is that it? The losses seem significant. Otherwise, his power would be much greater..." Robert observed with a hint of disappointment. He shook his head and telepathically instructed the Hulk, "Alright, you can go all out now. Finish off these Gamma warriors, and we can leave. Just don't harm too many ordinary soldiers."

"Hulk!" The Hulk roared in response. He had been holding back for so long and was thrilled to finally unleash his full power. His body suddenly grew larger, making the yellow giant tremble in fear. But before he could react, the Hulk's massive fist slammed into his chest.

With a sickening crunch, the yellow giant's chest caved in, sending him flying. Blood sprayed through the air, splattering across the blue giant, who had been boasting just moments before.

"How is he this strong..." The blue giant, who had felt confident just seconds ago, was suddenly filled with doubt. He hesitated, torn between fighting and fleeing.

"Help me avenge..." The yellow giant, now dying, gasped out, remembering the blue giant's earlier words. He had hoped the blue giant's ability could turn the tide, but now, he could only watch as his life ebbed away, unable to offer his final sacrifice.

"Hulk!" The Hulk's roar cut through the blue giant's confusion, sending a shockwave that knocked the surviving Gamma warriors off their feet. Even the now-powerful blue giant was momentarily disoriented, squinting against the sudden gust.

In that instant, the Hulk closed the distance between them, his fist crashing down on the blue giant's arm. Though he blocked the blow, the blue giant staggered back, pain shooting through his arm as he realized the full extent of the Hulk's power.

The death of the yellow giant had already shown the blue giant how outmatched he was, but being unable to fully withstand a single punch from the Hulk shattered his confidence. He had absorbed the strength of countless Gamma warriors, yet it still wasn't enough.

"Hulk!" The Hulk, excited by the challenge, launched a relentless assault. The blue giant, overwhelmed by the onslaught, found himself riddled with injuries, his earlier ambitions now replaced by a deep sense of regret. He should have fled when the Hulk was distracted by the yellow giant. Now, as death loomed closer, he had no escape, no way to fight back.

As the blue giant's thoughts turned to why he had lasted even less time than the yellow giant, the Hulk answered his question with a devastating punch that shattered his heart, followed by another that obliterated his head, ending his life instantly.

"Hulk!" With the blue giant dead, the Hulk let out a victorious roar. Though he had come to deal with the Gamma warriors, seeing so many inferior copies of himself had enraged him, especially since Robert had initially made him hold back.

But now, it was all over. The battlefield was littered with the broken bodies of the Gamma warriors, none of them intact, and the Hulk's anger slowly began to subside.

Just then, the Hulk felt himself being lifted into the air, his body suddenly weightless. At first, he tried to resist, but quickly remembered it was the same force Robert had used to fly him here. Resigned, he relaxed, letting Robert carry him away.

"What's the matter? Not satisfied?" Robert asked with a faint smile, noticing the Hulk's sulky expression.

"Hulk not mad!" The Hulk stubbornly turned his head away, refusing to meet Robert's gaze.

"I'll help you with these issues later. After Christmas, I'll take you somewhere, and I'll give you proper training," Robert said, a mischievous grin spreading across his face, sending a shiver down the Hulk's spine.

Meanwhile, General Ross had just left the meeting hall when he received an urgent report from his subordinates. Due to signal interference in the hall, he had been unaware of the events unfolding at the base.

Still fuming over his failure to retrieve Bruce Banner, Ross was stunned by the message.

"The base was attacked by the Hulk? The Gamma warriors were almost completely wiped out? Wait, the Hulk attacked the base? Then who the hell was that Bruce Banner just now?" Ross was momentarily paralyzed with confusion, his mind reeling as he tried to make sense of the situation.
