In 2012, the year of the Mayan prophecy that predicted the end of the world, Earth continued on without such a cataclysmic event. However, unbeknownst to its inhabitants, a spaceship entered the solar system. This spaceship did not head directly for Earth but instead traveled toward the sun, eventually positioning itself on the far side, always keeping Earth on the opposite side of the sun.
Onboard the spaceship, a muscular man clad in a specially designed black spacesuit floated out of the craft, closing his eyes as he basked in the sun's rays. Shortly after, a woman led a group of nine others out of the spaceship, and they too floated in space, soaking up the sunlight. However, some of them felt uncomfortable after a short while and returned to the ship, while the leading man and woman remained in the harsh environment of space.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, after the Christmas holiday trip, the Kent family decided not to return to the isolated island but to stay home. As for Robert, he returned to the Avengers base. He had previously promised Tony Stark to train Hulk, but he had delayed it for quite some time.
"You're finally here. You sure took your time with that holiday!" Tony Stark couldn't help but complain when he saw Robert. Compared to the seemingly carefree Robert, Tony had been incredibly busy. And it wasn't just Tony; newly joined members of the Avengers, Reed Richards and Ben Grimm, were also swamped. They had been introduced to the existence of dark creatures like vampires and werewolves, and they had also seen data about the Skrulls within the Avengers' files. Initially, both Reed Richards and Ben Grimm found it hard to believe such beings existed, but after learning that Venom and Hulk were both based on the Skrulls' genetics, they eventually accepted the information.
Reed Richards turned out to be even smarter than Tony had imagined, and Tony had to admit that in some areas, Reed was indeed slightly better than him. Although Reed occasionally made small mistakes, his addition greatly advanced their progress in solving the issues of werewolves and vampires. This progress only made Tony and the others busier.
In the midst of all this, there was one unstable element in the Avengers—Hulk. With no holidays and unable to leave the Avengers base, Hulk was aimless. This was the first time he had lived without restrictions, out in the open 24 hours a day. Besides eating and sleeping, Hulk didn't know what to do with himself. Although Tony had suggested that Hulk train in the facility to familiarize himself with his powers, Hulk had never done this on his own before. Without someone to guide him, Hulk resorted to causing trouble for Tony and the others, demanding someone to spar with every day. Otherwise, Hulk would start wrecking the base.
This behavior seriously disrupted Tony and the others' research, making Tony increasingly desperate for Robert to come and take Hulk away for training, hopefully returning him as a more obedient version of himself. Tony had considered using the werewolves and vampires to keep Hulk occupied, but Hulk seemed to instinctively know that Tony and the others were his allies, so he held back against them. However, when it came to the werewolves and vampires, Hulk showed no restraint. To him, these ugly and foul-smelling creatures were nothing but punching bags, and he would beat them mercilessly. If it weren't for the werewolves' and vampires' incredible vitality, they would have been killed by Hulk on the spot. Even the strongest of them, the Night Wolf, was no match for Hulk, so Tony had no choice but to assign Hulk's training to his own team.
"Is it really that bad? Alright, I'll take Hulk away now. He won't bother you anymore. If anything comes up, contact Kara—she'll reach out to me," Robert said with a smile, shaking his head. After a word of reassurance to Tony, he called out into the base, "Hulk! Get out here!"
"Hulk?" Hulk's body tensed as he heard Robert's voice. He stared at the childlike image on the screen in front of him, falling silent as if sensing that his good days were about to end.
"Hulk? Didn't you hear me calling?" Robert's voice rang out again, this time much closer, snapping Hulk out of his daze. Hurriedly, Hulk shut off the image on the screen, like a child caught watching TV by a parent. Fortunately, with modern technology, the screen left no traces of what he had been watching, so when Robert entered the room, there was nothing to see.
"Hulk… I was just asleep…" Hulk explained awkwardly, avoiding Robert's gaze, but his inexperience with lying made him stumble over his words.
"Is that so?" Robert gave Hulk a long look but chose not to press the issue. He grabbed Hulk and pulled him out of the room. "It's time to go. Your holiday is over, and now it's time for your special training!"
"Ah?" Hulk was visibly confused. He had completely forgotten what Robert had said before the Christmas holiday, but he had no way to refuse. All he could do was watch helplessly as Robert dragged him away, then lifted him into the air.
"Finally, he's gone. Hulk is like a big, destructive kid, and only a Saiyan can keep him in check. Hopefully, when they return, Hulk will be a bit more manageable," Tony sighed as he watched Robert and Hulk fly off. With that, he returned to the lab to continue working with the Martian Manhunter and Reed Richards.
On the wild island, Robert brought Hulk into this subspace. The moment they arrived, Hulk immediately felt the change in the environment. The air here felt more invigorating, as if each breath filled him with power.
"Hulk likes it here!" Hulk shouted excitedly as he looked around at the primitive environment. Despite losing access to his favorite videos, the surroundings gave him a sense of freedom that he found more appealing than any screen.
"Smack!" Robert's fingers lightly tapped Hulk's body a few times, and Hulk suddenly felt uncomfortable, like something was blocked inside him, preventing his strength from flowing properly.
"From now on, you'll live in this forest. Once you can break through the restraints I've placed on your body without getting angry, we'll move on to the next step," Robert said calmly. "And remember, it has to be without getting angry. If you lose your temper, I'll beat you up and suppress your strength even more!"
Hulk, who had been on the verge of resisting, fell silent upon hearing Robert's words. He lowered his head obediently, losing all the excitement he had felt upon arriving.
"Roar!" Just as Hulk was feeling dejected, a roar echoed through the forest. Suddenly, a group of carnivorous dinosaurs appeared, surrounding Hulk. Meanwhile, Robert had vanished.
"When he gains some control over his power, I'll have him fight that T-Rex. Once he defeats it, he can go up against King Kong. That big ape has gotten pretty strong," Robert chuckled, his eyes glinting with anticipation. When Robert first arrived on the wild island, he had sensed the presence of both King Kong and the T-Rex. Back then, they were both much stronger than Hulk and Abomination. Even though Hulk had grown stronger since Robert first met him, without his rage, he still wasn't a match for King Kong. And now, King Kong had grown even more, standing over thirty meters tall—far taller than Robert even in his giant ape form.
A King Kong of that size was a terrifying force, and if it weren't for the fact that bringing him out into the world would cause too much disruption and there was no suitable place for him to live, Robert would have liked to let King Kong roam outside for a while. The reason Robert suppressed Hulk's strength was simple: Hulk wasn't yet strong enough to face King Kong or the mutated T-Rex, but he was much stronger than the average mutant dinosaur. Without limiting his power, Hulk wouldn't get any real training.
"Hulk!" In the forest, Hulk was now locked in a fierce battle with the raging dinosaurs. With his strength diminished, Hulk struggled to adjust and was quickly injured. His first instinct was to get angry, but Robert's words echoed in his mind, making him calm down. He focused on the dinosaur in front of him, using his fists and teeth in a deadly struggle.
Hulk didn't back down, and the dinosaurs, driven by their low intelligence and aggressive nature, continued to attack Hulk even when it became clear he was a tough opponent. Fortunately, although Robert had suppressed Hulk's strength, he hadn't touched his regenerative abilities. After a brutal fight, Hulk managed to kill all the dinosaurs, leaving behind a field of corpses and pools of his own blood.
"Phew! Phew! Phew!" Hulk panted heavily as he collapsed on the ground after the battle. After catching his breath, he angrily grabbed the bloody dinosaur meat and started eating. Whether it was the violent tendencies in his blood or his natural affinity for the wild environment, one battle was enough for Hulk to integrate into the ecosystem of the wild island.
"Not bad. My voice can calm him down, so even when he loses control in the future, I can help him regain his senses. And fighting dinosaurs will teach him the most basic combat skills. The only problem is his appetite—he didn't leave any meat for me…" Robert nodded in satisfaction as he watched Hulk, then disappeared with a flash.
Elsewhere, in the wilderness of South America, Baron Strucker, who hadn't been seen in a long time, made his reappearance. Behind him stood a group of animal warriors, each one unique in appearance, their eyes burning with hatred as they looked toward
the USA.
Originally, Baron Strucker shouldn't have taken so long to resurface. His research on the animal warriors had already reached new heights, achieving the perfect combination of human and beast to create the ultimate power. But just as Strucker's experiments succeeded and he was about to begin mass production, he was attacked—not by any ordinary enemies, but by official forces, including other branches of Hydra.
Yes, Hydra had turned on itself, with several heads biting at Strucker in a bid to seize his research on the animal warriors. This betrayal could be traced back to Robert's intervention when he transformed into a beastman to save Spider-Man. At that time, various official agencies and Hydra factions had taken an interest in Europe's werewolves and vampires, as well as Strucker's research on animal warriors. After much deliberation, several Hydra factions leaked Strucker's location and cooperated with official agencies to take him down.
Strucker's base had been in Antarctica, but after the attack, he was forced to destroy most of his research and abandon many of his animal warriors to barely escape with his life. He fled to South America, where, under heavy blockade, he used his remaining hidden funds to start his research anew. During this time, a burning fire of vengeance smoldered in Strucker's heart, fueling him as he made a surprising discovery...
