Before Ron could say anything, a group of Slytherins came up the steps from their Dungeon Common Room.
Malfoy was leading the pack; he was wearing dress robes of black velvet with a high collar, which made him look like a rejected vicar.
As Lucifer expected, Pansy was Draco's date, and she was clutching his arm in a clingy manner.
Crabbe and Goyle both were wearing a dark green set of dress robes, which made them look like moss-covered boulders.
He did smirk at the fact that neither of them had found a date, not that he expected them to.
They were too stupid for any female to find them even semi-attractive.
The Oak Front doors opened to reveal the Durmstrang lot, but Lucifer paid little attention to them when he heard Parvati voice.
"Wow, she's absolutely beautiful." He figured she was talking about the girl next to Krum, who was at the forefront of the group with Karkaroff.
He looked over at Parvati, but she was looking, not at the Oak Doors, but behind the Marble Staircase.
"She looks beautiful!" Parvati said out of nowhere, to which all of them looked up to the stairs to see Hermione walking down the stairs.
But she looked incredible. She was wearing a pink dress that fitted her perfectly.
Her hair wasn't as bushy as it normally was, but sleek and shiny.
In the middle of her dress, a maroon-ish ribbon was tied around her body.
She wore the same necklace Lucifer gave her in 2nd year, including a bracelet that Lucifer gave her.
Earrings that he had given both as Christmas and for missing her birthday earlier, were also magically attached to her ears.
Since, she didn't have ears pierced yet.
But above all, Lucifer could also clearly see her collar gripping around her neck which he knows others don't. It was gorgeous.
She was beautiful.
"Hi..." She said when she made her way down the stairs, to find Lucifer staring open mouthed at her.
"Hi... You look really beautiful.." Lucifer said, finding it difficult to describe how beautiful his girlfriend looked.
"Do I not all the time?" She asked cheekily.
"What? No, that's not what I meant, I-"
"I'm messing with you... you look pretty handsome yourself."
"Thanks... Shall we?" Lucifer asked, gesturing to the portrait hole.
"Yes, we shall." Hermione hooked an arm around Lucifer's, walking down to the Entrance Hall together, while only sharing a few words.
Neither could express how amazing the other looked to them at the moment.
Hermione could only wish he would wear something similar at their wedding but knowing his clothing style, she was sure that he would.
When they reached the Entrance Hall, all eyes fell on them, even Viktor Krum's who was being supported by his date.
Lucifer shot a deathly glare at the Bulgarian, whereas Hermione took the more mature approach and sent the middle finger.
The other champions went in order, Krum went with some Beauxbaton Girl, Fleur followed after Roger Davies, Cedric with Cho, Harry with Parvati, Hermione with Lucifer Morningstar.
As they walked in, people started looking at them and gasping.
Hermione was bouncing with excitement, craning her head in order to try and see through the large double doors of the Great Hall.
"Is that Lucifer Morningstar?"
"He looks really good."
"Wait, Isn't that the girl he always hangs out with?"
"His date looks so pretty!"
"Pretty sure that's his girlfriend."
Many voices were all talking at once as they walked down. Even Draco Malfoy, who went with Pansy Parkinson, was speechless about them.
"I feel nervous, people are looking at us...."
Lucifer shook his head, "No, They are looking at you, like I do every time."
Hermione blushed at his praise, "Thanks...."
All the champions including Lucifer, who got recognised as Heir of Merlin then spun around to face their dance partners.
"Dance with me until our legs can't take it anymore."
"It would be my endless pleasure."
Lucifer faced Hermione who put her hands on his shoulders as he placed his hands at her waist.
Lucifer gave her a wink and Hermione shyly smiled at him.
The music started, Hermione's shyness vanished in thin air, she seized Lucifer's hands, putting one on her waist while the other stayed firmly in her grip.
They both began dancing slowly, only looking at each other and smiling.
Now Lucifer was twirling her around, while Hermione was giggling and thought this was going to a night to remember for sure.
Hermione pressed a kiss to Lucifer's lips, as she changed positions.
Her arms were now wrapped around Lucifer's neck, and his were around her waist.
They just started to sway... slowly swaying along to the music playing in the background.
Hermione's chin rested on Lucifer's shoulder as his did the same with hers.
Hermione sighed in comfort, and Lucifer pressed a light kiss to her neck.
Eventually their first dance ended and they both shared a loving kiss.
The two of them continued tasting each other's lips, until finally, the song came to a halt.
The hall rang with applause, but it took Lucifer and Hermione a few moments to snap out of the trance they'd started with each other and by the time they did, the next, and much faster, song had kicked in.
"Feeling brave?" Lucifer asked Hermione, flashing her a challenging smile.
Both didn't know this song.
"Of course," She smirked, and now much faster than their slow waltz, the two continued to dance.
About a minute in, Lucifer realised he'd been involuntarily singing along.
In fact, he only spotted it when Hermione called it out.
"You told me you had a good singing voice back in our first year," she said remembering as he sunk her low on his arm.
"I do," Lucifer said as he swept her back up face to face with him.
"I think it was the first time I have properly listen to your singing, and it's magical. You could be a real star, and I'm just a toad in comparison," Hermione said, giving him a quick peck on the cheek.
"Now that I've heard it, you aren't getting away with it. I played nice in first year, not anymore."
"We'd just met! I wasn't going to start singing in front of you."
"I did it for you!" she cried as Lucifer twirled her away from him and then back in. "Besides, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts is catchy!"
"Sure, so you can sing that, and I'll stay quiet."
"Nuh uh," Hermione said teasingly, "we're doing this kind of stuff all the time!'
"Are you serious? I thought you didn't like dancing and even quit those lessons...."
"Of course, this is really fun!"
"Well, if that's what you desire----"he eventually managed as he span her in against his chest.
Song was nearing to end, and Lucifer noticed Hermione sweating a lot, even though he asked if she wanted a cooling charm.
"No, I'm alright...let's dance a bit more...."
After just moments later, Hermione said about going to pick up some drinks for both of them, she didn't meet Lucifer's eyes while going so.
