Chapter 16 - PWA 16 Drop Items [Rewrite]

After winning, the three Pokémon celebrated their new victory as a trio.

Oh, the wild Spearow seems to be holding on a berry, let's see what it is.

Yet again another difference from the games, in PokeWack World you can find wild Pokémons holding onto various kinds of items that has never been listed on their hold item list in the game.

Let's take this for example, have you ever found a Wild Spearow holding onto a Sitrus Berry in any Pokémon games?

This reminds me back then, if you traded Pidgey from Generation I Pokémon games to Generation II, then they will have 100% chance to ends up holding a Berry.

Just don't ask me why and how.

Pokémon game logic 😅🍒🤣

Maybe the Pokémon is flying around somewhere in the rift between the world (different games generation) and they found a Berry that they hold onto then on the way until they are received by their new trainer?

Talking about Pidgey holding a Berry after they are traded in from Generation 1 Games to Generation 2.....

Why did my Phinia didn't come to hold anything?

I have inspected her whole body, every nook and cranny but I didn't found any single item on her body.

I guess in this PokeWack World, it comes down to luck to find Pokémon which held an item.

...

Phinia gives me a wary gaze after I have finished inspected her whole body.

Oi, what's with that look?

Why are you looking at me like I am some kind of pervert and you are a victim of my sexual harassment?

Wait.... Chotto a minute....

I turned around only to see that both Shion and Kasumi have also given me a look like I am some kind of creepy uncle who will go around giving candies to little girls while asking them to follow him home.

Kasumi have even crossed her "hand" in front of her "chest" like a woman who is guarding her breasts from getting harassments from a sexual deviant in front of her.

Oy! Stop that. I am not harassing my bird.

I only want to check whether she hides something on her body or not.

Luckily Kotonoha, as innocent as she is, only gave me a questioning gaze seeing our Pokémon's behaviour after I inspected Phinia's body.

Oh well, I bagged the Sitrus Berry from the wild Spearow and put the 2 fainted Pokémon's bodies in a sack.

In this world, if you left a fainted Pokémon in the wild, there are two possibilities that may happens.

The first is that the Pokémon will manage to stabilized and revive from their fainting with a small amount of HP left naturally. This usually happens from some minutes to hours after a Pokémon is fainted from battles, depending on their state of injuries and also their natural healing factors.

However the most often occurrence in the wild is the second possibility, where the Pokémon will be dead if left alone fainted in the middle of nowhere and their corpse will then be eaten by other Pokémons who happens to found their helpless body laying unconscious in front of them.

After all, Pokémons are living creatures too.

They need to eat to sustain the function of their bodies.

And aside from the berries and other edible vegetations in the nature, from where else they would be able to gain nutrition, especially the meat for carnivore Pokémons if not from the dead Pokémons?

Some Pokémons, especially the carnivorous ones are even actively hunting for other Pokémons. Like for an example, a Meowth or an Ekans would actively hunts for Rattata, Patrat and Pidgey, their favourite meals.

Okay, enough trivia, let's go back to the stories.

Suddenly an idea pop ups in my brain on how I can get our Pokémons learned new moves.

"Ah, Phinia can you teach those two how to do your Sand Attack move?" I asked my Pidgey while pointing my fingers to Shion and Kasumi.

" Pi pidgey?" Phinia tilted her head to the side while making a questioning gesture.

It is like she is saying, "What? Can you repeat again, human?"

"I want you to teach Shion and Kasumi how to do your Sand Attack. Can you do that?"

"Pi pi, pi Pidgey!" Phinia nodded her head while she straightened out her chest and hit it with the tip of one of her wings.

"Got it, leave it to me, Human!" Is what I think she said.

She then turned to Shion and Kasumi and talked with the two senior Pokémons in the team.

"Pi pi pi pidgey!"

"Woo woo wooxie?"

"Ghos ghos ghosteam....."

"Pidgey pi pi pi pidgey!"

Phinia said something for so long while she make a gesture for attack under the intense gaze of Shion, Kasumi, me and Kotonoha.

She lowered her body to the ground, then she suddenly swiped the ground using both of her wings and throw up the sands toward Kasumi and Shion!

"Woo woo xieeee!!!???"

"Ghosteam ghosteam...!?"

Both Kasumi and Ghosteam immediately screamed as they received the brunt of Sand Attack fron Phinia and get their eyes filled with the sands.

"Hey! What are you doing!?" I scolded Phinia who do a (not so) friendly fire attack to her two 'students'.

"Phinia-chan , that's rude." Even the gentle and refined Kotonoha can't help but make a frown seeing what my Pidgey have done to her Pokémon. I am sorry, Kotonoha-chan. I didn't expect that the thing would develop on this way.

"Pi pi pi pi? Pi pi pidgey." Phinia asked me something while making an innocent expression like she is stating some matters of fact.

What? Did she just say "Didn't you asked me to teach them how to do a Sand Attack? There, I have taught them how to do it." ???

[ ] Author's Note [ ]

And yes, the Ground type move Sand Attack in PokeWack World now deals a very small amount of damage (around the Power of 10, maybe?) Not like the non-damaging move in the Pokémon games.
