Reign tilted his head and smiled.
"Delicious," he whispered. "But not enough."
Below, Kang's voice howled again. "YOU MONSTER! YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!"
Reign chuckled, slowly descending from orbit. "Not yet. But I will. And really—calling me a monster? That's kind of ironic, don't you think?"
"You're the one who destroyed your world. If we're talking damage, I'll take credit for maybe 1%. The other 99%? That's all you."
A dozen massive tendrils shot into the sky. They moved faster this time.
But Reign didn't dodge.
He opened his arms wide and let the vines hit him.
BOOM!
Each tendril slammed into him with the force of a meteor.
But when the dust cleared… Reign still hovered in place.
Not a scratch.
He yawned, rubbing one eye like a sleepy child. "That was adorable."
More tendrils shot out—spiked ones, coiled ones, blades sharper than wind—but he just stayed in place.
"Time to end this. I gave you a chance to redeem yourself, but you're all size and no substance."
