In her unconscious state, Mu Xiangwan was trapped in one nightmare after another. Her pale little face contorted in pain, her entire body trembling slightly.
In her dream, a past scene replayed itself—a lovely child calling her "Mom." But soon after, the child suddenly disappeared. She ran everywhere in search of the little angel, only to find nothing.
The world around her was a vast expanse of whiteness, and a sinister, terrifying laughter echoed endlessly. Panicked and helpless, she ran aimlessly, unable to escape the nightmare.
Then she saw a familiar face. She ran towards the man and threw herself into his arms, crying uncontrollably, her words incoherent even to herself. But suddenly, that familiar embrace began to drift away. She watched as the man she loved fell into an immeasurable abyss—further and further away, shrinking into the distance, as she screamed hoarsely.
