Xiao Man extended a finger, with a playful smile, and said, "One more minute."
"I'm afraid you might get too hungry to stand."
He turned his back, and Xiao Man quietly approached.
Even though she knew he could sense her approaching, she still wanted to put on a little act.
As she got closer, her hands wrapped around his waist, and she poked her head over to ask, "You must've known I was coming and didn't dodge, were you waiting for a hug?"
"Didn't you want to be an ordinary person? I'll join you. You moved so quietly, ordinary people wouldn't notice. Pretending not to know, how about that?"
"Hmm, pretty good at pretending." Xiao Man laughed softly.
"Besides, I actually wanted a hug too. What a nice perk."
"There's an even better perk." She chuckled mischievously.
"A kiss?"
Like a chick pecking at grains, she nodded eagerly and beckoned him with her finger, "Too tall, come down a bit."
