The front buttons of the pink teddy bear pajamas had three undone, revealing skin as fair as jade and a girl's soft curves.
Meow's heart tightened. These buttons... surely she didn't undo them herself.
Meow bit her lip; that dream she just had must have been... just a dream. She had been having such dreams for a week straight before, although this one was... a bit more intense. But... it was just a dream.
Meow curled her legs up and reached for a cat plushie at the head of the bed, clutching it in her arms.
It took quite a while for her to calm down.
This little cat was a plushie that accompanied Meow for many years. It was exquisitely crafted, almost lifelike; especially its eyes, which seemed to sparkle.
Meow poked the little cat's nose and said softly, "Scaring myself, maybe it's because I'm getting engaged the day after tomorrow, and I'm... nervous."
Meow comforted herself, and this reasoning seemed to make sense to her.
