"Who… who is it?"
Lan Ruowei ran to the staircase and looked around, but no one was there.
When she left earlier, there were absolutely no words on the wall. Yet in just this short time, now there were words.
All around, it was eerily quiet. Staring at those blood-red words, Lan Ruowei immediately opened her door and rushed inside, her whole body trembling uncontrollably.
Curling up in her bed, she thought of that text message, her face full of terror. She didn't dare step out of her door at all.
She thought this would end just like that, but as soon as night fell, there were constant knocks on her door and the sounds of drunken men cursing.
Lan Ruowei was scared out of her mind and quickly called the police, but as soon as they heard her name, they immediately hung up on her.
No matter how many times she called, they wouldn't pick up.
The knocking outside grew louder and louder, accompanied by the noise of someone kicking at her door.
