"Wife, where are you going?" Xi Yemo's gaze fell on the bottle in Lan Xin Ai's hand.
"Why did you get off work so early?"
"No overtime today."
Xi Yemo reached out and took the bottle from her hand, knowing better than to say the little woman was in no mood to work, or he'd get kicked out again.
"Oh." Lan Xin Ai blinked, "Then you chat with Grandpa, I'll go get some wine and be right back."
"I'll go with you."
Without another word, Xi Yemo turned and followed her out.
"When I was a kid, whenever Grandpa wanted some wine, he always sent me to Aunt Kang's at the street corner. Her wine is the best, it's a skill passed down through generations."
Lan Xin Ai pointed to a shop at the street corner with a sign saying "Century-old Liquor Store."
"Smells pretty good."
Because they sell their homemade wine, the fragrance fills the whole street.
"Can you handle this wine?" Lan Xin Ai raised an eyebrow.
"It's not only expensive wine that's considered good."
