"What is this stuff? It looks just like piss!"
Jing Yiren held up the can in her hand, staring at the words "XX Beer" printed on it.
"..." Lu Ming's expression turned awkward, giving Jing Yiren a speechless look.
What kind of comment was that? As if she'd actually drunk piss before.
"This is just how beer is. Unchilled beer has a stronger barley fermentation taste, but people who are used to it tend to like it more."
Jing Yiren, with a face full of displeasure, pushed the beer back in front of Lu Ming.
"Still not drinking it. The smell's way too intense."
"..."
Lu Ming didn't seem bothered, though.
He chuckled softly, stood up, and grabbed a soda instead.
The barbecue chef began bringing over the food they had ordered, one dish at a time.
For Lu Ming, accustomed to lighter flavors, this heavy and bold barbecue style was quite the sensory jolt.
Jing Yiren found it intense as well, but man, it was seriously delicious.
