The whole world in his eyes seemed like an overexposed photograph, gradually losing its color.

He had overestimated his place in her heart, the pain in his chest was already a bleeding mess. It was a feeling beyond words.
Si Yelin, although he didn't know what had happened, seeing his brother in this state, figured that the confession had most likely failed. He sighed inwardly, unsure of how to comfort him.
"What about next..." Si Yelin was still a bit worried things would get out of hand; there was never anything his brother couldn't obtain since they were kids.
He saw the struggle in his brother's heart, perhaps it was the first time he liked someone this much.
"Just pretend it didn't happen."
Honestly speaking, when Si Yelin heard his brother say to pretend it didn't happen, his jaw nearly dropped.
His feelings were complicated, regretting for his brother, feeling sad, yet somewhat relieved.
