"Why are you crying?"
Mo Hexuan walked in holding a watermelon. It was the weekend, and he was lounging at home, not even bothering to wear shoes, casually climbing onto the bed barefoot.
"Want some watermelon?"
He held out a slice, asking.
Qin Youxue thought this man was unbelievably noisy. Yet, oddly, his presence made her aching heart feel a bit better.
Maybe, she really needed someone to help her shift her focus.
Even if that someone happened to be the very cause of her pain.
"No." Qin Youxue grabbed a dictionary and blocked her face.
"Then why are you crying?"
The topic circled back.
The dictionary covering her face was snatched away and tossed aside. The man's face came close, furrowing his brows as he grabbed a handful of tissues from the bedside table and pressed them onto her face, "Ugly enough as is, crying makes you even uglier!"
"If you think I'm ugly, why don't you leave me alone?"
Mo Hexuan let out two cold chuckles and replied, "Keep dreaming!"
