In the evening, Tang Die went downstairs in her pajamas to pour some tea, just as Mo Jiashuo returned from outside.
The night dew was heavy and cold. Mo Jiashuo, dressed in a black suit, stood in the hall removing his black leather gloves. A servant stood silently beside him, attending to him, and his tall, slender figure appeared particularly imposing under the light.
Tang Die came out of the kitchen with a cup of hot water. Mo Jiashuo had already taken off his suit and was wearing only a white striped shirt. His sharp eyebrows and eyes looked at her indifferently.
"Big brother," Tang Die took a sip from her mug, "you're back."
Her tone was very light.
Mo Jiashuo glanced at her, saying nothing, making Tang Die doubt whether he even heard her speak.
