"Ayuan, are you tired?" The bed beside her suddenly dipped, and the man with distinct jointed fingers brushed her long hair, his blue eyes gazing deeply at her.
Zhang Yuan was startled by his sudden tenderness and instinctively moved aside, but when she noticed the displeasure on Luoz's face, she sheepishly relaxed. After spending some time with him, she knew how to anger him the quickest and how to make him restrain his anger.
She shook her head, "I'm fine."
The blanket covering her was lifted, and then her pajamas over her bulging belly were also lifted. Luoz pressed his ear to Zhang Yuan's stomach, mumbling something to their child. Zhang Yuan shifted and simply closed her eyes, knowing she couldn't resist whatever he wanted to do to her.
Luoz sighed quietly and lay down with her in his arms, "Ayuan, why can't you just be calm and peaceful with me? I really want to be good to you, to this child, to give you a home."
