After eating, Xia Yunsheng went upstairs to rest. Cheng Yanzhi followed behind her, intending to enter her room. Xia Yunsheng blocked the doorway and refused to let him in. "Go sleep in your own room."
"You just finished eating, weren't you going to rest for a bit? I'll read in your room for a while and leave shortly."
Xia Yunsheng eyed him skeptically, "Why is it that whatever you say, I just can't bring myself to believe it?"
"I promise I'm not lying." He looked utterly earnest.
Despite her doubt, Xia Yunsheng eventually let him in.
